I'm glad the two OPs who got scammed got their money back, and I can't believe how supportive this community was/is of its members. In a kinda heart-warming, tear-jerking, utterly satisfying sort of way. This is just another proof of the fact that online communities can sometimes be more "community-like" than some offline ones. Awesome is all I can say.

And I'm sure the guy will get his. In one way or another.

Rock on, MBWorld et al!

Hey bro...it don't work that way! You did the crime, you can't start back peddling now that you got you sack caught in your zipper!
Have any of you that have had dealing with the perp had any other red flags or fraudulant charges on the credit card you used with him?

This would be installment two in a series about the Net community. installment 1 is dooma350 and Husker BMW's Ebay auction!

Google checkout is within reach, but not on my specific platform, it might be a conflict of interest so i have to be cautious on how I present the information and to who, Also goole checkout has their own fraud team that will send it to the back end processor. I have some numbers and will do some research on this end but i will need some additional information and the affected people will have to come forward and present this to the fraud team at google first, and if that does not work then the processor themselves....through experience though you have to escalate these matters through the correct groups in order for thwem to substantiate the claims and it could take a little bit for them to do the research and call the appropriate law enforcement agency, especially due that this is a cyber crime issue.
Also, a little credit card 101, most businesses have a front end and a back end processor for transactions (one processes, the other settles and sends the info to the bank) ---so even a third party like google that will sign them up through a specific processor might have to look into this first
DBA name--OEM Headlights N Parts right --what is listed on google checkout as well as his merchant number on the site?
Also we need the people to come forward that never recieved a refund
BTW google's back end processor is FirstData (aren't they all though!)

I spent HOURS reading every page of this last night. Great stuff!
Way to get this scumbag. He was a nuisance to NT, as well as many other forums, and I'm glad to see he's getting what he deserves.
Much respect to the way your community came together to build this case. Nice to see y'all band together. It's a wrap for this clown.

We would ask you nice to please tell your associates to stop harassing, making threats, and racial slurs to our company associates. We take all comments very serious. We have issued you a full refund already. So therefore we have no other obligations to meet with you so therefore our transaction is void. Thanks

My associates??? This guy has what seems like the entire internet world after him, and it's me to blame? What a joke. Like I said in an earlier thread, I think he might be mentally handicapped.
What a joke. Too bad no racial slurs or threats or harrassment were made/done. Everything on this post is just conjecture and speculation--no harrassment, no threats.
C230_617, you're an idiot that deserves to be bent over by bubba at Rikers. See, I'm making a statement. Nothing harrassing or threatening in it at all!
