w211 e55 equipment
I was telling my dad about the e211 e55 and he posed a question that i couldn't answer.. that was.. "what is the standard and optional equipment on the e55?".... now that he thinks about buying the car... he wants to know how much he's gonna have to fork out for this bad boy...thanks!

I am curious why MB does not make the COMAND system standard on the E55 AMG.... i mean it is the top E class sedan and the top car in a class usually gets the Most standard Equipment.
Any thoughts chaps?

back @ my questions....
ok.... after extensive review of the english pricing guide... it says that the electric glass sunroof is optional.... is that the regular sunroof or the panoramic... cuz the pano isn't even mentioned.. also some american options are missing such as the DVD navi, motorola v60 phone, and solar panels (due to no pano roof)... my question is wutz up?.... are these options just not offered in the UK cuz that sux... and i thought the US models don't get remote boot closing?... i guess i'm just being really really picky.. or am i?

My "guesstamite" is that the Comand Nav will be optional for the E55. It is also optional in Germany. My reason for this is that the base price will be slightly lower than the S430 ($72,600) and if the E55 had Nav the price would be over the base price of the 2003 S430.
