2007 e63 with 12,109 mi for $48900, I called the number and of course it is disconnected.

I actually worked with a guy that got caught schtooping the office receptionist and on the next business trip his wife sold her 2004 C4S for $100.00!!!

This is yet another classic Nigerian type of scam. The prices is low enough to bait you, they ask if they can send YOU a check more than the car is worth for some international reason and you send the difference to them via wire transfer. Sure enough, their check is fake and you are out a few grand.
If you have some spare time, have fun and bait them towards the cops.

A while ago, there was a bunch of M5s and 6s with the same type of ad on autotrader as well. Most were listed anywhere from 10k to about 25. Most were also listed on Ebay and Cars.com for prices that were much more believable. I think the reason they do this is to get you to call, because of course, they know that you know the price is too low, so now they have an ad that sticks out from all the others. There's still a couple M6s like this on Autotrader.
