The really interesting thing to note about that second one is:
#1: The owner of Sevas (who I assume to be Karl) enters the thread to bash the naysayers
#2: He then winds up having to admit that his rims have around a 10% failure rate.
This is shocking only because he considers that to be *low*. Well, it's not. You have to have 4 rims on a vehicle, or 5 if you buy a matching spare, so a simple calculation of the resulting odds tells you that amounts to almost a 50% chance of failure for a complete set on a vehicle.
Yet, they come here and bash other manufacturers...

Could you make sure you let us know how many sponsors you need to keep this forum going? Given the way sponsors are dropping you may need to charge a fee per post.
Do I sound sarcastic yet?
Sometimes I think you guys go way over the top on what "silence" from a sponsor may mean and condem before you have the whole story. There are clearly people on this forum who have a relationship with this vendor. A little patience will result in more information.
Now as far as the poser is concerned, well...... have fun!
P.S. I will agree that some of the other information being gathered on Sevas which is seperate from the poser issue does look to be of concern. Maybe a good topic for wheels and tires section.

That rim's a little dirty in the pic, but from what I can see that sure looks like a 1-piece forged rim to my eyes...so there goes the thought that these problems were limited only to the multi-piece cast products.
And Jon, I dunno man, I think there are bad and good experiences with every business out there. Naturally you're going to have people who are upset and people who are happy. But I think you really start to turn a corner when you have a bunch of different people all saying the same bad thing about the same business, like in the EE thread that you still seem upset about. That speaks volumes. There were 5 or 6 forum members with major issues, and they found EE through MBWorld...why should they not be allowed to talk about it here if they are treated poorly?
Plus, at the end of the day, in both the EE thread and this one, the business chose to be a member/sponsor of this forum. They got business from that arrangement, and treated their customers from this forum poorly. So naturally, people are going to discuss it...on this forum. It's just the way it works.

All of the info I posted is public domain, and having wasted my time makes me a sad panda. Hope I'm allowed to recap without personal info or pics:
1. Poser posts pics of what can't possibly be his house or garage from http://s185.photobucket.com/albums/x...ira/?start=all
(notice spyromoreira in the link)
2. 411.com gives address / age of one Spyridon Morreira
3. maps.google.com - street view gives a picture of the address, confirmed to be in one of the pictures on photobucket. Far cry from the million dollar mansion in the pics posted.
4. His LinkedIn page identifies him as a Sevas Wheels employee
5. At the same time he hypes Sevas Wheels in another thread and bashes competitors
6. Sevas CEO comes on denies knowledge of the poser, who has posted from the same IP address as him, and answered the company phone when a news crew called about wheels blowing up
