SL65 VRP1000 and 20" Monolites
WRX STI kill
My buddy and I were riding around in his K4 E55 yesterday, just minding our own business.
Along side of us comes this young kid driving in a brand new WRX STI, still had the paper temp plate.
He comes up along side of us, and gets our attention.
Then he starts weaving thru traffic, and we follow him for a little ways, and then the traffic cleared up, and he was in the left lane, and we were to his right.
We were going about 70.
Then the kid hits it, and we weren't quite sure that he hit it.. But, anyway, my buddy just kept along side of him up to about 110 or so, then we realize that he was on it as much as he had, so my buddy down shifted and hammered it.
We pulled him bad.
At 150 we had him by about 4 lengths.
Added a little excitement to an otherwise mundane day...

Sounds like he let the STI get a couple car lengths before deciding on taking him out. Four car lengths from 110-150 is quite impressive if you just think about how quickly he got to 150.

I dunno...Around here we have some 4 bangers Evo's that will leave my V12 standing...lol!! Definitely have to put a lot of money to make it fast though.

3k or less is about all you will need to make them run 11's.ECU flash

You can not put so much stress on a stock bottom end. At least that is what I have been told.

There are quite a bit of EVO's that run low 11's and have trapped 125+ mph in the 1/4 mile. If you can trap high 120's almost 130mph in the 1/4 then I'll

It would cost a fortune just to make a benz run that fast or run 11's.
There are quite a bit of EVO's that run low 11's and have trapped 125+ mph in the 1/4 mile. If you can trap high 120's almost 130mph in the 1/4 then I'll to you.
These motors 4g63's ,Jeffrey's 4 cyl Porsche included have been known to handle ,with a built bottom end over 30 to 40psi of boost putting out 600+whp. Stock mitsu 4g63 bottom end is limited upto 550whp.

my friend, I haven't done jack to my car and it ran 11.5 at 120.XX with the exception of a cooling mod...the driver was jayson of course but with a bit more practice I see myself running these types of numbers. Weather was 92 Derees that day.What do you think will happen when I add airbox, ECU and TCU and some low 50's to 60's weather...
, I definitely see 125+ trap speeds maybe even a bit higher with some Ice

, if they come even better. When we ran at MIR, if anything I would call those the worst conditions yet the car put the smack down. I definitely agree with you in terms of the money it takes to mod an AMG as opposed to a 4Cyl banger, lol! But to play you have to pay.
Sleep!...me.., never lol! if anything you should have seen the mouths of the 4 cyl bangers when she was on a dyno an everyone thought she was going to lay down 300 RWHP, to their surprise she put down 500+....So she is a perfect sleeper and all stock,
Let me know when you get the talon ready...we could do some roll ons to show you what I mean...

You are comparing apples to oranges mang...if you will be getting a car that will get into the 9's wait a second while I build me an 8 Sec supra. If I was to put those fan size turbos that talon is running into this V12 along with some tuning and half the stuff it has on it, that talon wont see my tailights even if its stripped down.
Let me know when your talon is ready so you could prove me wrong.

My car has nothing to do with my "members" to put it cleanly.2.Yes I can show you some 10 sec and high 9 sec daily driver's if you want.
3.Especially where the person has spent 1000.00's less.
4. We are talking about your car and my mitsu ****box running the 1/4 mile regardless of whether it is a lux car or not.
5. I, like Jeffrey and Ralston am building it MYSELF and not paying anyne else 1000's to touch it and do it.
6.Bring and build the 8 second Supra because you will not know how to drive it. There are DSM's and EVO's even faster than that.
7. While you have a nice car you r still new to the game.
8.The day you could fit some big turbo's on your 65 ,please let me know.Not my fault if you can't. Just like I can't fit a 12 cyl TT engine in my car.
9. As a matter of fact we can try to set something up with you racing Gavins 4 cyl Audi 2.0L turbo till I finish my car.
10. Enuff of the talk,we'll just do it ,my 4cyl vs your 12 cyl TT.
Now show me a 9 or 10 sec Benz. And we are not talking about Albert's or Stephan's and you know why.
