Yes, mine do. They don't cool you down per se, but they do stop you getting 'sweaty bits' on longer journeys.

I think the perception is that you have seats which blow fresh alpine air onto you. Nice, for a quick 5 minute cool down, but not so good on long journeys. Better to draw the ambient cabin air past your skin to keep your skin temperature constant (sucking the air through the seats). Much more comfortable and quite a well thought out system IMHO.

The system is far more advanced than others since it actually sucks the moist air off of your back and ***, instead of blowing air onto your back and ***. On longer trips this is a much better solution than that of Lexus, Toyota, Honda, BMW and other brands.

That makes more sense...I just think that the idea would be for a quick seat cool down, since most of us daily drivers might not be sitting for hours on end... In the case of long rides I'd hope the AC had cooled the cabin enough to keep your *** from sweating.

Thanks!

I guess I'm weird because I would still prefer a seat that was cooled.

BTW, who does a guy gotta screw around here to get rid of that "Almost a Member" status???!!

10 more posts and you got him.

Back to the topic - I drove 850 miles this past weekend and I thought the seats were great.

You got a long way to go before you get recognized. Don't worry about what it says. Do your thing and you will find your spot. Just please don't screw any of the guys in here.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Mine does a pretty good job too at keeping my back dry.
I've got mine at the highest (Level 3) everytime I'm driving.

It's like strapping a York Peppermint Patty to your nutz

I dont know I leave mine on all the time too but I test drove a new Sequoia and it had air conditioned seats and I gotta tell ya first impression was he this is waaay better than just having the seats draw air through. If you get into a hot car the a/c seats are better. Over a long trip I would think your butt would freeze though hehe so I guess the slow airflow would make more sense. I would have bought the new Sequoia to replace my older one but they redid the body style and took away all the drivers headroom. Theres nothing I hate more than sitting at a light and having to bend down to see the light.

The vented seats are totally worthless.

I only notice a difference when I'm wearing shorts on the seat cushion; but I do notice the seats seem to cool off more quickly after sitting in the afternoon sun especially after having had the pano roof open.

I find it works best on long trips, but no so extra just around town. Like others have stated, it mainly keeps you and the seat dry. I've never noticed a "cooling" effect.
