What's with the CLK63?
Saw one on US85 yesterday and I have a question: Are all CLK63's Black series? Or are there 2 models: CLK63 and CLK63 Black series?
Reason I'm asking is because as he flew by me, I could not see any specific badging that said Black series. Damn, those wheels wells are friggin huge.
BTW, I was in my Pilot coming back from the nursery. Otherwise I would have tried to stay with him for a closer look.

It was a hard top.
I don't know if it was a Black series or not, hence the question. I did not see specific Black badging, just a 6.3 on the front quarter panel at the appropriate spot, and the huge flares.

The Black Series badge is nearly impossible to read unless you are about a foot away from it or really know what you are looking for, you will never notice it from another moving vehicle at highway speed or above.

Let us just hope that the enormous flared wheelarches, 19" polished multi-spoke rims, carbon fibre rear spolier and diffuser and distinctive 6.3 badging on the front fender is enough to convince a passing motorist that this vehicle is special.
