I think its BS. Maybe it was an E55 suffering kompressor melt down. My mate has an S6. The 55 whips it every time. S6 looses respectably, but it still looses. Would an S6 beat an S4?

I have owned no fewer than 9 Audis, many of them with very heavy mods. I love these cars for their AWD performance characteristics.
This being said, it is unlikely that a modded S4 could take out an E55, especially as the speeds really begin to climb.
As to an S6 v. an S4, it depends on the year. The current generation of S6 with the V10 is a quick machine but the last generation with the V8 could be outperformed stock for stock by an S4 with a manual tranny.
In any event, buy an S4 and mod it as it is a great car. I really don't know that it matters if it is faster or slower than an E55 or E63.

I have an S4 my wife drives it she thinks its fast. She races muffler monkeys and mustangs hehe. On a rainy day its pretty fast so if your goin against one in bad weather its got a damn good chance. On dry pavement not a chance. And its a bouncy ride to boot. It feels like driving a V6 car. I cant imagine the RS version is that much faster. The old RS6 TT V8 can be easily modded and that was fast though.

I had both..... and it was very mod. B5 S4 AWE RSK04 Kit. the quickest time I got was 12.03 1/4 mile at 123mph.
0-60 about the same
60-100 about the same
100-150=E55 all the way.
0-100+ in the rain = S4 all the way
But of course when it came to handling = Audi " it was Complete Stasis Car".
But if the E55 is mod also. have to see.
Both has its good. I just need a bigger car. and the e55 is it.

From the guy's story, he's saying he beat an E63 with his Stage 2 S4 (probably a low low 13 second car at best). There's no way in hell that happened. The guy was probably gently accelerating and the S4 idiot thought he was racing. Most of the people on Audizine are teenage morons. Go to Audiworld if you want some true info from adults.

I can not agree more... go to audiworld....
I believe there is also a video here somewhere E55 Vs Stage 3 White S4 on the strip. and beat the E55.
