Out Of Control!!
You can rent MIR for $1600 minimum for 8 cars and $200/car after that.You also accused me of postponing this event because my car isnt ready. Rent MIR so I can run you. I sent out my trans to be built for this event and bought a quaife LSD

Because Gainsville is only a few hours from Miami and I can race my car on saturday and the go to the Nascar race on sunday. BTW I never accused you of squat but its a small world and I hear stuff.....

It was pretty clear what you were accusing me of and even in this post here it looks like you are reiterating your claim. Man up and just say it. I would never postpone a track day because my personal car is not ready. I can do a track rental any time I want Jim, I've done plenty in the past and will do plenty in the future. I guarantee you I would not postpone a rental for my personal reasons. It is a small world and people do talk alot, you believe everything they say?

I can tell you that this decision was a joint decision which included my input, at no time was there any discussion other than the weather and the expectations of the many people coming from out of town. To suggest otherwise is childish.

Accuweather now has chances of rain down to 30% or less.
Note 9am to roughly 2pm it's down to 10. Course it's early in the week still.

One of the main reasons for picking MIR was that it is among the fastest tracks in the country, and that it employs excellent track prep, which gives people a very good opportunity to set/break records. If MIR is not going to happen, then ATCO is definitely the way to go since it also is an incredibly fast track, and seems less busy than MIR.

Boy what a difference an overnight makes!! SO sorry bout the new forecast you guys. 60% chance is rough especially with the heavy rain coming Friday. Track would be mush anyway right?

There are a bunch of us (including you) who live an hour away from the track and it would be absolutely no big deal to run up to the track and find that it is raining. New date is Nov. 22nd, hopefully we get good weather then.I went so far as to call MIR today and tell them I am willing to put up $1600 to cover 8 cars for THIS saturday for those of you who were complaining but look at the forecast now. Are you guys still complaining or are you happy you didnt waste your time, money, and energy? If you guys want me to keep saturday open let me know (It will cost $200/car) but the big rental will be the following saturday
Bill, have any pics of the old trans?
I have to drive it down from Philly friday night but how many miles am I supposed to put on it and what is the break in procedure? Thanks

And this is why I don't rent tracks anymore my friend for friends. WAY TOO much complaining and you will NEVER satisfy everyone. I used to rent summit point, nelson ledges, and watkins glen, OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. Only to find 5-10 guys would show up because of weather, jobs, life etc, and I would eat the rest.

I originally had a full work schedule on 11/5 and moved everyone to the 22nd. Now I am trying to move everyone back to the 15th but it will be tough, so I might not make it....will let you know Ahmad. I understand everyone's frustration by that's the chance you take with rentals.
