Ford GTX1
GTX1 Prototype #001 on display.
In November 2005 the Ford GTX1, a roadster version of the Ford GT, was unveiled in Las Vegas. The $48,000 aftermarket conversion is performed by the Genaddi Design Group and endorsed by Ford. It includes performance upgrades that increase horsepower to 700 hp (520 kW), as well as suspension modification.
By ditching the stock supercharger and installing an upgraded unit, the Geiger crew was able to increase boost pressure from 0.8-bar (11.6 psi) to 1.25-bar (18 psi). After installing new throttle valves, replacing the air filter, equipping the GT with a new exhaust and remapping the ECU, they were able to bring power levels up to 701 HP and 617 lb.-ft. of torque. 60 now comes up in a scant 3.5 seconds and top speed eclipses the double-century mark by 11 mph

Off topic but did anybody happen to see the Z06 Genaddi Designs supercharged&made into a convertible? It was slower then a stock one...some things are better left alone imo

MBWorld Fanatic!
iirc, they gave it just enough more hp to make up for all the added weight. it was nice but imo definitely not worth all the extra money!

would best to just SHM modify a stock GT:

the f & p-car/s are definitely amazing, but there's something nice about good ol' American brute force. personally would take a GT over Z06 despite price differentual. GT among my favorite cars.
