LET tune, VRP pulley and K&N's
Finally got the VRP pulley on last week, drove the beast home and shipped the ECU to Jerry at LET for the Tune and installed the K&N's.
A good word about LET...i shipped out the ECU thursday after speaking with Jerry and paying for the tune. Jerry contacted me on friday and asked me what i wanted the car to do, and shortly later i received an email with a tracking number for saturday deliver. The communication was excellent, Jerry contacted me no less than three times and UPS a couple of times to ensure Saturday delivery.
If product and service are driven by price, i don't know what i'm leaving on the table with LET. The service was excellent and the product...oooohhh the product...i don't have a dyno run but the tune is certainly doing it's job.
The VRP pulley is certainly doing it's job, no wobble after the install and a that pulley is a genuine work of art in my book.
And the result: The car is officially the angry beast...i opened it up on the entrance to fwy today and second gear pulled like a freight train...in the upper rpms i could have swore the car was going to take flight. Slowed down and again opened it up at 45mph and had the the traction control kick in as it was too much for the BFG's outback to handle. I couldn't be happier with package. Thanks to all, including this forum. I probably wouldn't have heard of VRP, LET or known about the 168mm vs. 178mm pulley or gotten a good word about these guys to have the confidence to buy into them.

i would do the cooling stuff before anything. i began modding quite a bit before cooling and my car would feel somewhat sluggish. With the cooling upgrades you really get the chance to use the power.

Yes, cooling mod coming up soon. In mid 80 degree weather, i feel the car loosing it's crisp pull on the second and third run.
