Needless to say I was pretty skeptical when I heard about it, but apparently it's been tested and is the real deal. Seeing that I go everywhere with my iPhone, it's gonna be fun to run my own drag races during my morning commute, or see how many g's I pull on the jughandle to get off I-95, etc.

I havent taken it out to try it in my car, but will in the next couple hours. According to the mounting instruction that are in the software they suggest putting it in the cup holder or something like that to keep it stable. Also it says the top of the iPhone should be pointed forward toward the direction of travel.

I assume you need to "jailbreak" your iphone to get this going?
Please keep us posted on this. Man, I might just get this now. How fun.
My girlfriend is pretty sick of the guitar application so I'm kinda due for a new one

I think it has to be put in a place where it doesn't slide or move around like maybe a cup holder. I'll be purchasing this app hopefully today once my iPhone 3g comes in.
Someone on myMB already tried it out and said it worked fine.

I have everything off.. 3G, wifi, bluetooth, location services, fetch, etc... and it still dies within a day... gotta just take it back, and swap it out... Also, after a few texts, the alert sound stops sounding, and sometimes even the lock sound..

Replace that ish. Sounds like you got a dud bro. Mine still dies at the end of every day, I have a dock at work to charge it. I'm constantly screwing with it.

I bought this app about 15 seconds after I saw this thread. I hope it works. If not, I have wasted money on stuff way worse than this before.
BTW, how much should I put in for our car's weight? Never mind. I did a search and estimated 4220.

I just ordered the app. Can't wait to get home to test it. Some of the reviews say it does crash occasionally. Maybe the updates will take care of that.

Bought it yesterday and did a few runs, this thing is awesome
The SL has a sweet mount between the gear lever and the hardtop control, snaps right in when you put it in D.
