05 E55, very sluggish after a coupe hard runs.. IC pump bad?
being this is my second W211 E55... Im pretty familiar with the IC pump issues.. I have a 2005 E55 with only 15k miles on it.. Today while out at lunch. I got into the car pretty good, a few times.. After the 3rd time, the car was a complete DOG.. I mean, slower than an E320. And had a "rotten egg" odor..
Is this a bad IC pump??
Car is still under bumper/bumper.. So I made an appointment with the stealer tommorow.. Is there a bulletin anyone has?? You guys know full well, the dealer is going to give me the dreaded "can not duplicate customers concerns" B.S... is there any ammunition I can take with me, to get this done?
thanks in advance guys..

What's throwing me off is the egg odor.
Do a quick search under egg odor and you'll a few posts of guys with bad cats.
Worth getting fixed under warranty if bad as they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$..

Try and go to the dealer after you have punished the car and the supercharger starts to cut out. Ask your SA to bring out a tech and have him drive the car. Once he does a few good runs he will feel what you are experiencing.

I didn't have to do that. My SA got a tech to come by, plugged in the stardiag machine and found the code.

Update, dealer has had my car for 2 days now.. They DID get the car to throw codes, several...(good news) So, should be good to go.. In addition to replacing the IC pump. They did have to go ahead and replace the fuel sending unit..(recall).. Hopefully it will be done Mon.
thanks for the help guys.. The S.M. took the car out for a "ride" with the Star hooked up. Threw codes right away..
Ended up at Cherry Hill... David Stamato really takes awesome care of me there.. Cherry Hill has a terrrible reputation for sales. But for service (assuming your under warranty). There pretty good.. Once your out of warranty.. Don't go anywere near that place![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
