BMW 760LI

I think the B7 and the 760 are in the same league, one being a centrifugal supercharged 745i engine and the other being a big v12.
Any mag racers got numbers for us??

you let a car wind up first and take the lead.. its going to take time to pass ..
if you both started at the same speed and lined up evenly.. then you would see a different picture.

I got to drive a coworker's 760li, and I wasn't impressed. Hate the styling inside and out, and 400ish hp doesn't cut it for an "ultimate driving machine" of that size.
I can't for the life of me understand why somebody would buy a 760 over a S600, and that comes from a life long BMW fan (well, until Bangle showed up).

Car & Driver tested both (not at the same time) with the following results:
Alpina B7:
0-60 4.4
0-100: 10.1
0-150: 24.4
1/4 mile: 12.8 @ 114mph
760Li
0-60: 5.1
0-100: 12.3?
1/4 mile: 13.6 @ 106mph
The 760 was tested with an 03 S600 which ran 0-60 in 4.3 and 0-100 in 9.7 and a 1/4 mile in 12.5 @ 115mph.
I would definitely get the E63 checked....

I tend to belive these numbers. I drove the 760 and light to light raced a B7. The B7 will put up more of a fight but still get stomped.
My e63 is just fine!!
You mentioned that other cars have not given you trouble from stop light to stoplight and highspeed freeway runs. Can you name a few of those other cars?

But seriously, you should have blew his doors off.
