Interior Upholstery Change...opinions?

Since I'm going ***** to the wall in the modding department, my next project on the car is to do something different in the interior upholstery.

Possibly something similar to the interior upholstery of the 63 or 65 series...I might even consider a subtle two tone (unlikely though since I'm going with the murdered Punisher theme)...

63 Upholstery

65 Upholstery

Current Door and Seat Insert Upholstery

Get steering wheel MP or AMG clk black one if you do not already have it
Piano wood or carbon wood and you are set I feel. Not a fan of diamond stitching, but I guess you can do that on the doors

Charcoal or another shade of gray alcanterra inserts on the seats. Look at the maserati website for some cool ideas... they have an awesome customization program.

It looks awesome. Albeit, they are coping from Bentley, Ferrari and other ultra high lines, but that is ok. It is great. Do it.

I'm waiting for a quote on having the headliner, the door inserts, seat center inserts in black alacantra. The headliner is supposed to have some type of double stitching so that it doesn't look too plain.

Is the first picture from a SL63? Or is that the SL65?

63 or 65

I think it is an sl65 because the 63 has the semi manual transmission that has the select options next to the gear selector and the so in the pic does not have the selector

I like the quilting

Does anyone haveca pic of the designo "plus" interior I have not seen that

sl63

here is a pic of the SL63, as u can see it does not have what MB calls 'V12 stitching'

I got it from the AMG range pdf available for download from ...

http://www.mercedes-amg.com/index2.h...oom/models/e63

It has different interior shots on the 65 models than people have posted

So you want your seats to look like a mattress? Ok.

If you're redoing the interior make it look like the designo interior and maybe some cool stitching. Leave it at that IMO

I bypassed the diamond stitching...see above.
