Well I got into a lil fender bender recently so the car will be ready hopefully in about a week and a half. Then pick up the car, slap the new daily set of wheels on ( other set hasn't arrived yet ) and then off to my friend's shop to get some "minor" mods done

bone stock E55 AMG
My hats off to MJ50, his car did much better this time around. We did a about 4 races but only one was really good because of traffic. The one solid races was from 45mph to 100mph before traffic hit and he had me by 3/4 cars, we never raced from the 60mph to 110mph like the first race a week ago, not sure if 60-110 is my cars sweet spot. I guess its time from me to do more mods, I have all ready placed an order for a new AA intercooler. Overall I'm very happy my car is good enough to go against a mod'd E55. MJ50 and me will surely race gain once I get my new mods and he gets his. Nothing beats a Sunday like hanging out and causing trouble.

thanks for the update..
45 to 100 is a short race, but it represents most of the runs you will have in real freeway pulls..
60 to 110 would be the same outcome.. since the 55 will still kickdown to 2nd and shift to 3rd after a few seconds..
based on trap speeds... once it reaches 120+ the difference will be larger..
but most of us won't have the opportunity to run that deep.
bottom: n54 tuned engines are great for real life short runs and will need your full attention if you expect to pull ahead.

Hey Mario,
Its Mark. It was nice meeting you and MJ this past weekend. Hopefully the next time I can bring my car out too.
Come out Sun!
I went with Mario and MJ on the runs this past weekend...it was good times. Saw bunch of nice rides at Euro Sunday too. I'm definitely going back again.

Mario had a friend with a SCed C6 this past weekend...it was quick. It left all of us in the dust. It out runs stock Z06s.
I think Kevin might be getting a FMIC. I'm trying to convince him to change out the V2 to JB3 .

I ordering a FMIC as well 20whp more. The Vette is stupid fast and will become even faster once he fixes the intercooler pump (worth 70whp) and he can run a "race map" setting via laptop so that will be another 60whp. He will be no fun to race :-(

Mario lined up w/Dwayne & my SL but said he gave up after we both started pulling on him, (I think there wasn't enough room for a 3 way lol!) I hope we can run them again.
I guess my 600tt likes the 100 octane, I'll be running it again @ the next meet def would like to race all you guys

Would just like to add - I also run my cooling setup without seperating the circuit. While either approach has it's merits, I've measured my temps on the dyno and I prefer being able to deal with two heating issues rather than 1, and I have seen a very nice drop in temps even with the circuit still as one and have had good results powerwise to show. I personally would recommend not seperating the circuits and allow you upgraded core to benefit the motor in addition to the IAT.
