yes sir, first on the list is lowering the car via STAR system.

Next I am thinking filters and x pipe in place of the resonator, in order to get some more sound.

Welcome, Hey keep an eye on Hurricane Ike looks like Galveston is in the cross hairs now. Hope you enjoy the 55, once you become accustom to the mountain of torque down low, you will be spoiled forever.

Yes I am still getting aquainted with the car. I want to gradually change my driving style to harness the power. Maybe in two week i will experience full power.

Also does anyone know how easy it is to change the Stock D2S light in the headlights.

That job takes small hands, it is tight but can be done. The fogs can be converted to Hid to match too. And my bad, I put 50 watt hid kit in my high beams too, (over the top bright, can cause eye damage and so illegal "five O" could put me under the prison).

what is the general consensus on resonator delete and fitting an x pipe in its place. Performance wise i know it is not going to help but sound wise how is the improvement.

If you want to hear a straight pipe with long tube headers and a modified OEM mufflers, just click on these photobucket url's...

They gutted it...very little baffling material in there. PS...I also have the VRP cams which might contribute to the extra rumble.

Sir since I feel like you are an exhaust guru. What kind of sound would i get from replacing the stock resonator with straight pipes in its place. Keep in mind I have zero engine mods. I am looking for a low rumble.

Shardul01...I am by no means a exhaust guru because I classify myself as non-gear head. I just surround myself with people I trust to guide me in the right direction and who can handle the job.

Hang around the board and you will find so many other members that can give more technical information...As far as the straight pipes...that along with modifying the muffler or replacing it with less restrictive one will get you towards your rumble that you want.

I the think the cams definitely help with the muscle car rumble.

i think i am going to try to remove the resonator and go from there. to remove the baffles from the stock mufflers you would have to cut them open right.
