Wow, is it getting cold during the day here in New England and do you know what that means. Ya baby!!!, it's time for a SERIOUS tracking event to take advantage of the cold weather. Daytime highs are already sinking to almost 60degrees. By October 22, daytime HIGH could be 45-55 degrees. We should definitely have MAJOR negative Density Altitude.
I just called the track and this is the deal:
$105 and we get to run from 1-4pm. The track is extremely well prepped. Only 40 cars are allowed to run. Right now, only 3 cars are signed up for Oct. 22nd. All i have to do is get a list of names, contact numbers. No cash actually exchanges until we actually go through the gate on Oct. 22nd.
I choose Oct. 22nd, in the event we get a rain out, we have the very last Wednesday, the 29th to reschedule. So we got two chances to track and take advantage of the best tracking conditions offered to track enthusiasts.
I hope you guys take advantage of this opportunity like I will. As you know, time is running out in the 2008 season to achieve personal bests and E55 and E63 records.
Let me know by responding to this thread if you are interested. Many of you have already mentioned your interest so I hope you come through....

Hey I am definately interested but I just need to check with the boss! We just talked about this 2 days ago and she said I could go to NEDW but she didn't want me to race! I use to run my Vette there years ago but she said I was a dad now and things are different. I will work on her don't worry. Deep down she knows I would race but doesn't want to hear it I guess. Any suggestions from the other married guys out there? Also is this MB only? I have a friend who has a Camaro SS who may want to come and play.

Trying to arrange my schedule, will try to be there. These Test and tunes are much better than street night. Just a heads up, though... when I did it, they only let you run one at a time, no heads up racing. Still fun, much better track prep. Z

The one downside is when I was there, they did not allow heads up racing, and since I was on street tires they only let me run the left lane, which either was not VHT prepped or much less so. When I asked them why, they did not want me messing up the right lane with my street tires for the "real racers". I will call, but I imagine that drag radials will get you into the right lane.

I have a feeling wednesday might be wet. I'm really hoping and praying that the sun will shine. I have the day off and everything. If wednesday is clear count me in if anyone wants be meet up.

There are only 10 spots left as of this morning. They have sold out the last 3 track rentals and it is limited to 33 cars. If you have not signed up yet, please do so or you will be left out. If you have signed up let me kow through this thread so I can keep track of the number.
