Will the 5 sopke CLS55 rims fit on a W211 E55? Will I have issues with the offset. Any help is appreciated.

They will fit, but I hear they will stick out just a bit and if you plan on lowering will most likely rub. Try doing a search as I recall some threads that covered the offset of the CLS55 rims on a W211.

They will fit - I had CLS AMG wheels on my car for a while - it does stick out a little bit and tires are wider, but didnt go past the fender. I think the tires might be a lil thicker too. Car wasnt lowered - never rubbed.

I sold my stock CLS 55 wheels to a guy with an E 350 and they fit, I think his car was lowered about an inch too.

CLS rims will rub on an E with 275s in the rear. Also, the front will slap the top of the fender on every turning dip. I dunno what everyone's definition of rubbing is, but I consider it any rubbing through the entire suspension travel. If you define it that way, they rub. Even just in Sport II mode and a speed bump, you get the rear rub.

Shaving the wheels PLUS rolling the fenders won't be enough. Look at how high the car is in the pic. The car looks good because of the aggressive offsets, but it rubs.
