Transmission in sport, car raised, comfort mode, 20 psi on rear tires. I do a 4-5 second burnout. Power brake it and bring the RPMs to about 1300-1500. On green let off the brake and roll onto the throttle taking about 1/2 second before full throttle.

Those are great times..............but your car is NOT "bone stock". As far as I know; correct me if I'm wrong, your car didn't come from the factory with K&N filters and a spring booster installed.

Bone stock= 100% factory original parts/equipment

Don't powerbrake. You are confusing the ecu and it is keeping you out of the 11's. Keep your foot off the gas until you are off the brake. Roll firmly into the throttle. Let the outrageous torque of the 55 launch you off idle. I bet you are in the 11's soon.

Nice runs but bone stock means bone stock! from filters to exhaust. Looking at your times and speed atleast compared to my car, your car seems to be down on power once you get down the track, for example I'm at 91.0-92.5 mph at the 1/8mile. I also think something is up with your 60' time relating to your trap speed. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you spin your tires at the start of a run does that increase your trap speed? I had a 2.2 60' because of no traction and almost ran 118mph in the 1/4.

I was pretty close..eh Tom..11's are right there.

How the hell do you manage to get a 1.8 60ft. My best on the stock contis is 1.90.

Great time though

Prep and technique. Greatest street tires in the world won't help you without a sticky track.

I didn't think that K&N filters and a sprint booster would make that big of a difference in being stock or not. Next time I go to the track I'll take out the K&N filters and remove the S.B. If I leave the tint on my windows will that disqualify me for being stock?!? What about my XM radio, I better take it out just in case huh.

It is still bone stock, you just need to point out what tires you are running on. Bone stock with DR's is still bone stock, but with DR's. You can't even buy the original Conti2's that came with the car.

I am not even sure what the sbc break is, sorry. What I do is simply keep my left foot on the brake pedal. When I am ready to go, I lift off the brake COMPLETELY and roll into the gas hard. I have never managed a better 60' with brake torquing. I usually trip the ESP.

the sbc break is the electronic breaking system. when you depress the break pedal with maximun force and then release your foot, so that the car stop . when you hit the gas the car go.......

another question is when i raised my car to accelerate, sometimes the raised fuction will cancelled by computer. Is this happen to you?

Cheers!

can someone tell me what a sprint booster does? It doesn't give you hp... whats the benefit on making a car "faster"

It's a box that plugs in between the gas pedal and the ECU. We kinda dispute this a tick (some guys claim it messes with the ECU etc etc), but I just believe it is "doubling" the signal to the ECU so to speak.

When you are half throttle, the car is pretty close to full throttle and so on.

It just makes those throttle butterflies open much sooner.

Until I hear the creator himself say otherwise, that's about all it does.

Don't get me wrong. LOVE MINE, but some guys just don't.

Sound like the same effect the 'sport' button has on a E46 M3.
