The PS2s are one of the softest Z rateds, but they also soft on the sidewalls. That can be good and bad. If you want a soft side for traction, I'd say PS2s. If you are looking for stiffer sidewall, but soft compound then try something else.

Vredstein tires are great and about half the price of the ps2.

even at almost half the price of my ps2's, toyo t1r's are the best tire i've used so far. i've cut 1.71 60ft times on them regularly.

I run T1R's and agree that is by far the best tire and priced very low too.

I concur. T1R's are very very good tires. Low noise, good feel, etc. Then you throw in the price, it's tough to pass up this combination. I know people say PS2's but it's hard to spend double and not get that much of a better tire, if better at all.

I run PS2's and love them. I want to try the T1R's, but I am never in a position to change all 4 tires because I seem to replacing one of the fronts every 6 months. When I last ruined a front PS2 (2 months ago), I couldn't justify replacing all 4 with T1R's because my rears have plenty of life left in them and my other front still looked brand new.

I've been running T1Rs for 2 years and they are great. Pretty long life too as long as you can hold back on the burnouts. My fronts lasted nearly 20k. Not sure if my front end is heavier or lighter than the 211 though.

I just replaced my RE050A 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 with the latest
Pirelli P-Zero in the same size. These are the same tires (different sizes) as used on the C63, RS4, R8, Ferrari 599, Gallardo and many others.
I have had Conti2 and PS2 before, as well as the RE050A. This is the best tire I have had on my 2005 E55.
Whilst the RE050A was OK it used to light up ESP at the slightest provocation. Kick down at 25-30mpg and the dash would light up like a Christmas tree.
The P-Zeros (not to be confused with P Zero Rosso, or Nero) are so grippy, that the ESP light does not even come on. The car just squats and takes off like a scolded cat without any wheelspin. I will do 0-62 times on the
G-Tech to confirm the acceleration times.
I strongly recommend this tire if money is no object. It is very expensive. Contact Luke at The Tire Rack.

Toyo T1r's are awesome. I can't wait till my fronts (conti's) start to bald so I can change those out as well.

Performance / Longevity / price

T1R's are hands down the favorite.
