Highest mileage W211 E55?

In looking for an E55 I've driven one with 90k miles. It seemed to be in very nice condition. Any others out there with high mileage? What has been your experience with maint/repair?

54000 miles on mine:

New battery at 5k

New steering rack at 10k

New valve cover gasket at 40k ( leaked oil all over the place )

New left front window switch around 40k as well

Airmatic malfunction at 53000K ( thankfully dealer took care of it even though out of warranty )

A bunch of little recall stuff and 10k between oil changes

I have 4 mos left on my lease and I pray nothing major breaks in that time...

Not too many replies here. Do these cars not hold up well in the long run?

it's more likely that there's just not that many with high milage yet.

i've got 95k on mine and just had my alternator and s/c clutch replaced under warranty. i do need the valve cover gaskets replaced but other than a few minor things that i can't even remember, the only other problems were of my own doing.

before I bought the one I have now, I test drove a 1 owner, all maintanance records 175K mile 03 E55. It looked and ran perfect..almost bought it, but the miles scared me, so I passed.

56K Miles here and nothing major. While under warranty I had them do some things that did not HAVE to be done, but everyone here suggested getting replaced and my Service Advisor was nice enough to help me out (updated supercharger clutch pack and updated bosch IC pump).

Oil changes every 5-7K miles.

40k on mine,, no major issues, SC belts are normal maint. $100 and the valve cover leak is pretty common,, had mine replaced for $125. These engines are bulletproof if you do reg. maint.

26k and nothing major. The leaking valve cover gasket must be common because my mechanic told me he saw that mine was leaking when he installed my throttle body. He said he would fix it under warranty next time I brought it in for service. I still have about 4 months of warranty left.

I'm considering getting either an E55 or an S65. The only thing that has me concerned is the life of the supercharger system on the E55 and the turbos on the S65. Any opinions on the life of these systems. What would replacement of the supercharger or turbos run if they were to fail out of warranty?

WOW! That is amazing. I wonder what the owner did that required such large amounts of driving. Out of curiosity, how much was the owner asking with such high mileage?

How often are you and other replacing the supercharge belts on average? Are you driving the car pretty hard, or is this just part of the cars quirks?

Was that a warranty repair, or an out of pocket? How much was it?

You won't have any issues with the turbos on the S65 but you will have to worry about ABC issues.
