Hi everyone. Im fairly new to MBWorld, but i post frequently on www.crossfireforum.org. Id like to gauge interest on a product i will be offering soon...
I am currently having the stock intake manifolds modified for the SRT-6 and C32 AMG. I have had fantastic results with these manifolds on the M112. My car picked up 32whp and 25wtq along with a tune![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
It has become appearant to me that the intake manifolds are similar in design to those on the s/c 5.5 liter AMG engines. Im curious to see what performance could be gained with my modified manifolds on your V8 engines. I am expecting some nice gains.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Keep in mind these are still stock manifolds, but the runners are modified to increase flow. You retain the stock appearance and the AMG logo.
Ill need a test car in the DFW area to mock up my first set. The first person would receive a one time special deal. I dont have all the details worked out to the "T" but if someone is serious please PM me and we can discuss details.
Below are some pics of the SRT-6 version with a dyno comparison.

I need to see an E55 in person to give a realistic estimate. Ill provide the first set at cost. The risk is your the first to try it.
The reward is if the laws of physics apply to the s/c v8 the same way they do to the s/c v6 your gonna gain some serious power at a discounted cost of what every set thereafter will be sold for.
If i owned an E55 this would already have been done.

Does anyone have or know of someone with an E55 AMG in DFW, TX?
Im expecting great power from these manifolds but i need to find a car to mock up the first set on.

Look Up "Darren Dallas" under the members list and shoot him an email.
He is now an M5 Dinan guy but he's super nice and is really in with the performance crowd down there. Bet he knows.

No takers yet? I know you guys are big modders. With E55's in the 10's and 11's im suprised no one is all over this.
Maybe one of you can pop off your plenum and check the restriction. If its anything less than 2.5" at the smallest point(which im sure it will be) you are not making max power.
Would somone mind removing one side and checking or even posting a pic. It only takes a few minutes.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Im hoping for 35-45whp gain with suppoting mods...ie big pulley, intake, tune, upgraded H/E, etc.

I too am surprised that no one in TX has jumped on this...COME ON TEXAS, WHERE YOU GUYS @?
What is also concerning is that non of the forum tuners haven't done something like this already or have they?

Price was posted above but its impossible to narrow it down until the first set is done.
I will be more than willing to provide dyno results after i make the first set. +35whp on my srt6 should be even better on e55, or at least as good.
You know what, i might even be willing to purchase a set of cores to moddify if need be. Then the test cars owner doesnt have to worry about hacking up his...doesnt get much better than that!

I will purchase a set of cores so if the manifolds dont make power the owner can keep his originals.
I will order them soon as i have a confirmed test car in or shipped to DFW, TX.
I need someone with or willing to have an ECU tuned, it will be necessary to make the most of these manifolds. Remember more air needs more fuel.

Bump.
Im suprised no one with an E55 AMG wants the huge power increase that im certain these manifolds will provide, and lives close enough to drive to DFW for me to mock up a set at my cost.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
The offer doesnt get much better than this.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
ps, CODE3PERFORMANCE has a set on his c32 and loves them, along with LET tuning they are a killer combo!
