Same design but different wheel maker. I actually have these wheels too on my C class in 19" in a gunmetal finish.

Check out post #22 you can see what the wheels that are being discussed look like in silver w/o a lip.

Most likely, but as a rule of thumb, no matter how good a wheel looks, you get what you pay for. Keep that in mind.

Yes, I went with 19's. 8.5 front and 9.5 rear with 245/35-19 and 275/30-19 tires. If I'm not mistaken, these are the same specs for the 19" OEM option including tire size. So I'm assuming they will fit the gap similar to those. As a note, the wheels I ordered have the anthracite interior and polished face.

And I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for, hence my plan to keep the original wheels as fall back. I should have them on by mid day Fri and should be able to post by the afternoon.

Most wheels, especially multipiece, bend if they are exposed to the dangerous conditions that cause wheels to bend (i.e. potholes, dips, bumps).

What was the rim weight each? Do you drop some un-sprung weight over stock?

You have a CL55 with replicas on it....are you happy with them?

I've had replicas on my CLK320 & E320, but am hesitant to put them on my E55 because of the amount of power this car has.

What are the advantages to spending the $5k for nicer wheels over getting reps for $2k?

Not sure which wheels you are talking about, but my 19's are about 2lbs lighter on all four corners than the stock 18's.

That pic was taking in front of Sonic MS I believe they were either swapping out tails or tinting the old ones.
