Im glad you guys all had fun. I made my 800 mile trip to Sacramento, and thank goodness, the weather reports weren't entirely accurate. The drag stayed dry all the time but without much traction. I ran a 11.991 at 117.524 with tune only. (+tires/gas). That was with a substandard 1.875 sec 60'. Can you imagine what I would have done with a better 60' time? a 1.750 would have netted me an ET of around 11.791!

Car was clean and stylish, smoothly attacked the short times and had mostly 11.7-11.9 runs at 115-117 mph.
The Jeep also hit 11.70 but the NOS 250 shot was not working correctly.
The 135 was simply tuned running high boost, race fuel 109, and light wheels , he was also on his street tires. The car was super quick and would out run the 335 since it is lighter and pushing more HP, Terry tells me 15-20 morehp in this 135 over his 335.
was very entertaining , I just wish we could have raced side by side, things would have been different 4 me.

I yanked my seat as well and it did not help much but my trap went up slightly and it made me feel like I had a chance again, my seat was likely 50 lbs.
The wheels are definately the most important mod, light rotors , calipers and wheels likely get 2-4mph .2-.4 ET. Nothing like getting to the track and not having yer weapons, dam man , I am very happy for Rick however, there is alot more in the car, our 60ft times suck, 1.9 , the 63 need a line lock, stall converter etc..

Guys I had a great time meeting you and seeing alot of you again! Your event gave me the opportunity to be the quickest and fastest N/A 426 SRT8 Jeep in the Nation...so far. Not bad for a 5,000lb vehicle with a 245lb driver!

Here is another link to a place where I bought lots of ti bolts to replace the heavy stock steel ones. Pricey, but if you guys are serious about weight savings little nuts and bolts weight saving add up fast. I have a container filled with about 20 pounds of misc. nuts and bolts I replaces with about 7 pounds of ti nuts and bolts. Over the winter I am going to go underneath the car and see what I can safely replace with ti. I bet there is 40-45 pounds of weight savings on these cars by converting to ti bolts.
I actually can't believe none of you guys don't already do ti conversions. Back in my motorcycle racing days I raced in a class called 600 super sport, had to stay pretty close to stock and this was one of the easiest was to cheat, we could cut 20 pounds of weight by using ti and aluminum bolts, and on a bike 8.5 pounds of savings equated to 1 hp, considering our bikes only made about 105rwhp the 2-3 hp gain was significant.

Yes, my car has a lot left in it. I had the wrong gas to go with the ECU. One thing to remember here is
I ran the record CLS passes with a STOCK ECU![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
You guys haven't see anything yet, wait until the MHP ECU goes in (we all know the tune is kick azz, Right Jcart) everyone that has installed it is amazed. Another important fact is the after seeing all the burnouts yesterday my quaife diff is a great mod , both rears light up at the excact same time, even the 030 amg diff is no match in traction. Speaking of burnouts I ripped one so bad we had to wait a few even to find the tree
the whole staging area was gone
I couldn't see sh^t . Thanks again to all who showed. And Jim I am a GREAT SALESMAN LOL. See You in Vagas Man

I had the MHP cooling mods installed, 180 Tstat and Spacers. After hot lapping like 10 runs my cars oil temp was 99 and as I let it idle in the line to get my Daughter ready to race the car would cool down to 95.. I only cooled the car down two times all day
. Yes it was cold temp out ther but we had another CLS to compare to and it was not doing as well. Great job MHP

You might be a great salesman, but you showed your cards too early...You might have left something on the table, but not nearly enough to be a threat to my times...remember, I left a lot on the table too, I have an additional 80hp of NOS to inject and need to plug in the NOS only ECU. You probably left 2-3/10ths on the table, but so did I
those 2-3/10ths = 11.40's for you and 10.80's for me.
Congrats on cracking into the 11's as well as taking the CLS crown.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

I'm checking right now if Famoso will be available on January 17th. The track manager seem to think it'll be available but they'll will give me confirmation within the next couple of days....

I was already collaborating with some of the SRT8 guys for the same date. Let's do a combined event. Let's keep it to 25 cars or less. I guarantee you to get the 25 will be work, but well worth it.
Call me if we need some monetary "pool" to make this happen.
