Now I have a question, are there still fires burning out there, it seems every time I turn on the news LA, Malibu or OC is on fire? How many of Oprahs house are gonna get burned this year? What does all that smoke do to the DA and overall air quality? Even if you are miles upwind and the dense smoke has disapaited the particulate count in the air has to cause havoc on MAF sensors. This is kinda sorta a serious question.

Nah dude, fires are all gone. We got a few inches of rain about a week or so ago. Caused a few problems in the burn areas but not too bad. As far as DA's go, can't help ya there

There is probably only 4 to 5 spots available. On December 8th, I'll take the first 10 people who paid and will re-fund the rest. But I believe up until now, we're still below 10 confirmed cars.

We don't have fires right now, and Famoso is far away from these fires anyways. But you're absolutely right: the ashes and dirt created by these fires affect the air quality greatly. Last year, we raced at Fontana during the wild fires, and it was one of the worst conditions possible.

Josh you know I would be there, but we are having ours on the same day. I'm knocking on 11's door, and I know I would get there in Fontana. Good luck and maybe next time. I'm throwing the idea of woodburn in oregon next spring. That is our west coast equivalent of MIR raceway. It's like 150' feet elevation.

For sure after the UD pulley and full exhaust. Not looking forward to that. My service manager will love it though!

Careful with getting a Supercharger for your Hummer (Assuming its an H2), not to sure on the other models, but for the H2 it will become problematic. I was thinking about getting the SC too for my wife's H2 when I first got it (damn these things are so slow) until a friend of my destroyed his tranny after having the SC installed. After doing some research on forums, I found out it was a very common problem for these H2's with SC. A lot of the guys were installing vette tranny's if I remember correctly to handle the extra power. Breaking trannys was one of the many pitfalls on the H2 when SC, after all it is American .

GL with H2 should you decide to install SC

How many spot are still available? I'm hoping vvirgins are welcomed because I just had that weekend open up. This would be my first time to the track and I would love to see how the beast would do.

I thought 135i BMWs could do low 13's stock! With all your mods, I hope you can break into the 12's

If I am in town, I would definitely love to watch a great bunch of guys. But I will be out of town probably, unless it is snowing up north!

Please, no more non-mercedes vehicles register until I get confirmation on exact number of allowable participants from the track owner. I'm 90% sure, he'll allow us more cars, but until I get that 100% confirmation, I'll have to keep the maximum number of cars to 10 cars, which was what quoted to me by Famoso management.

Here is the updated list:

1) rarfinancial - CLS63 - RennTech
2) juicee63 - CLS63 - VR530 + light weight mods
3) MB_Forever - E63 P30 - Stock
4) Shawn - E55 - Stage 3
5) URnext - SL55 - VR600+
6) Fantasm - SL63 - Stock
7) Terry335 - BMW 135i - Modded

Oh good a BMw I can beat woohoo

Ricky, Ricky , this is it bro ,

its gonna be a long tow back to the shop after being mopped up by Orca.

can u say dual fan install , parktronic radial symmetric magnificator

the flux capacitor coupled with 100 octane will likely be too much for the Vellano show car
