Wow!! Some awesome times from you guys! Sounds like the event was a blast.. I wish I could have made it down there to meet some of you guys.

Let's try to organize an event for spring.. It would be great to get everyone in one place.

Now you guys can see the evidence that our cams make power.. lol... Look at all the top running 55s and you'll notice a pattern.. Albert (rflow), Isaac (E55 Baller), Nate (Nitrous Nate), Ahmad (BlackBenz) ... They all have the cams on their cars.

----------------------------------------------------------------
Isaac,

So.. Do you think your really low dyno numbers are still an issue now?

Awesome times for your car!!!! Congrats my friend! I know you were really bummed about the car and thought it was running crappy...

Alot of guys who have had disappointing dynos or weird A/F on the dyno have gone to the track and run absolutely blistering times.

Don't touch a thing.. looks like its dialed in!!

Quote: Hey all my mods are below. I could not make a third pass. I had to unfortuantely leave.

I still don't understand how dropping 3 tenths off my 60-foot only dropped my ET by 3 tenths. Perhaps due to rolling resistance with 15 psi in the tires? I wish I had taken out my air filters and put on lighter front kosei's...or taken a shet...that might have made the difference today in hitting 10s.

Quote: I dont think they keep records, im missing one of mine also, your slip can be vouched for as we had multiple witnesses, nice meeting you yesterday Jim and thanks for making it down.

Hey Jody. My drag radials didnt hook in yesterdays weather. First run was an 11.13 @ 126.55 with a horrible 1.79 60ft. Second run I ran an 11.16 @ 127 and toasted my rear end
What happened to your rear end.........

Good drivers? LOL jk! To be fair, the cams didnt make power without a tune on my car. If anything it made negligible power without a tune. Not sure how much of the power gained from the tune was the cams but it did make a big difference (obviously the cams did play a big role but I dont know exact numbers)! And I LOVE the way it sounds I would do it again just for the sound alone, not to mention the power. I always get compliments on the lope. Nice work Pat and Vic

Ahmad,

That is a great run man and a fast trap. Congrats man. No doubt you guys worked hard and you choose a great day to run with the weather conditions.
You did predict records would go down and you were right. Although a negative 2,000 DA certainly helped a lot. Nevertheless, it's a record breaking run......

Thanks Yea the weather did help alot. Did anyone have a weather station at the track? It would be interesting to see what the exact DA was. Jim wasn't able to best his best N/A times I dont even think he came close. You should have come down!

Yes, with those conditions I would have been right in the running with you guys. I don' t think those weather conditions will ever be repeated again. You guys were at least -2,000. I was using 37 degrees but Isaac stated it was 33 when he ran. Jim's car had to be the BIGGEST dissappointment of the day. He had hgih hopes of breaking my 11.36 and blowing away the E55 record for NON NOS.

Great job in breaking records for you guys. Isaac, Jay and AHMAD!!!!!!!

BTW, nice burnout.

Thanks. What was the DA when you ran? I thought you said they were great conditions.

According to drag times, my run corrected with a guess of -2000 DA was:

"Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines
11.19 @ 123.561 MPH"

I'm trying to find a bigger throttle body now. That is really holding me back IMO

Quote: Ahmad, I seemed to have misplaced my time slips from yesterday, people kept asking to see them and I never got them back. Can you check if the track keeps times on record, I was car #32. Josh is going to be asking for proof of my 11.19...thanks

Never understood that. You have a Black Series, I don't care what you run, you automatically win!

i was very fortunate to take some fast cars down the track yesterday. I think my CL600 could have gone a low 10.90 or high 10.80 if it would have hooked but it was just too cold for how narrow my tires are.

Tom had his daughter with him and didnt run yesterday.

Thanks! I will try to get some spacers and get the CCW's to fit. Or else I have to wait until they remake my wheels. Maybe I will buy a set of mt et street radials for my koseis if I get sick of waiting. Tens are well within reach. Nate will probably run tens today!

Thanks! No, I was not running the nitrous and I was on pump gas (93 octane). I tried it once on my last pass of the day but nothing happened when I pushed the button. Maybe the solenoid was messed up since I never use it Theer were a few people taking vids/pics so as soon as they post em up I will post them here.

Yeah, I think I have the fastest 446 rwhp E55 for sure. When I started reeling in the GTR (I had a 7 mph higher trap) i was up against I was shocked. The VRP cams are crazy!!!

Ok, I know terrible quality off my iPhone but will scan tomorrow.

The 126.6 trap was against a GTR...not sure why the messed up trap for him but I believe he went 119.xx

My car was pulling like a freight train in the last 320 feet. Back to the drawing board to test, tweak and mod and get this running 10.80 to 10.90s - non nos.

Thanks. I suck at photoshop. If someone could cut the top half of the pic off so it would fit as a sig and replace the "cintas" with "Blackbenzz" I would use it as a sig.

Here are my two best runs and amazingly my best run ever with no N20 was yesterday as well with some of the worst 60' times ever too. The 60' times were not due to traction issues...they were due to transmission issues and anything over a 1/2 throttle launch and then a stomp would lead to a "cut out" at the 1-2 shift.

No N20:
60'-1.765
330-4.796
1/8-7.305@98.59
1000-9.445
1/4-11.251@123.35

The car felt fast on that run and I knew if the 60' had been better than a 1.76 then it would have been in the 11.1's. I was also impressed with the mph too showing what good air can do. Most of my non nitrous assisted passes are usually high 121's.

Best and only clean N20 pass:
60'-1.827(yuk!)
330-4.833
1/8-7.279@101.84
1000-9.334
1/4-11.071@129.12

I did not spray the car until just before the 1/8 mile and the slip shows that clearly. On my best run ever in the spring, I sprayed the car through 1st gear and I only lifted the button for the 1-2 shift. If I get a new tranny, I should be able to spray all the way down the track without lifting. The day was great as I did not break anything and the cars were running great. All of the fast times were just mind blowing. Oh, last pass I tried to launch a little harder and got a 1.72 60' and the car would not shift into 2nd gear....mercedes benz self preservation mode. Of course the car runs fine around town as I drove it today just to check it out.

Record ETs always happen in negative DA air.
