Quote: Thanks. I suck at photoshop. If someone could cut the top half of the pic off so it would fit as a sig and replace the "cintas" with "Blackbenzz" I would use it as a sig.
Let's see how this looks. I think I can improve on this later. I will work on it when I have a bit of time. BTW, I, too, suck at Photoshop.

You're welcome. I am sure someone can improve on the characters. I will play with it tomorrow and see if I can come up with anything better. We have quite a few members here who are quite proficient with PS. Someone can clone out the text and re-type it and make it look better. I'm just a rookie at this.

BTW, awsome times and congrats.

I don't know if this was the only Vette @ MIR but it's NOT a Z06
Quote: So, the Z06 was bested by a stage 5 E55? Hmmmm..... Nice to see everyone had fun on the fast track.
It's a modded regular C6 NO Z06 just like my old C6 w/widebody Z06 rear end panels/Z06 wheels.. Notice the small reg C6 Calipers/NON Z06 frnt fenders or frnt bumper etc...

I'm certain this is similar to what you ran Jangy, there are a scad of these widebodied C6's running around just like I told you before, still quick w/multi-mods but NOT Z06 quick...

That's correct Sean, LS3 with Z06 rear. I believe he was trapping 122ish.

Sorry Sean, but I had a photographer take pics of the ENGINE and dragged Josh over to verify that it was indeed a Z06 before the race. Also, I am the one that made sure we lined up. Then, we got the video tape and to back that up the driver came over from the Vette forums and posted that he lost.

Also, my comment had nothing to do with the blue car. It was based on the slips and Jamie's Z06 is now famous and with a target on its back. More importantly, it was beat by the E55 JUST like out here.

I said "I didn't know if that was the ONLY Vette @ MIR" upon further searching I found the pix of Jamie's Darker Blue Z06

Please post a link or pm me info to that Z06 you ran...I never saw those pix/posts

Jamie's Z06 is dark blue and did not lose to an E55 this weekend at MIR. The light blue LS3 Vette may have though as it was only trapping 122.

No a M6 did not make the event.

We have our first tuned M6 (not sure on the mods) hitting the dyno in the next 2 days, then the track on Friday.

So far the owner is quite happy spinning through the 2-3 as posted in the MIR thread I started.

Ummm..... Not @ this particular event, but it's been in the 10's @ 128-129mph I believe in STOCK form

Are we ever going to race? I forgot to reply to your last post where you said you've been beating up some S600's & that we were over due for a run...

The S600 weighs about 400+lbs more than my SL, you've dogged my offers to race for YEARS, way back to when I was rockin' the C6 Vette. You afraid of a near stock SL600 w/race gas

There was a someone else tuned 535i with exhaust running 13.2@105-106. Obviously not up to its potential. There was also "Sniz"s gorgeous blue 335i but he had traction issues. I believe he's gone high 11s at 118 in the past. I think it was the Q/F 335i around.

Not at all. Honestly, I never knew much about teh 600s until recently. I've been killing them, but dunno how much is driver being loony (me) or the car. I've finally got to where I use my car. I think Vadim had my car the entire time you wanted to run....

next mexican run for sure.

Not sure what it ran this past sat either but yes that car has gone 10s@128+ bone stock at that track. Ranger also ran his C6 Z06 into the 10s there 100% stock.

Very true. He didnt run much that day but I saw these slips posted. What E55 went faster than 11.108? E55baller has the fastest E55 off nitrous (trap speed wise) and even he didnt beat the fastest time of the STOCK Z06 that day

Really? Dude, why didn't you rub that in me sooner? You know I was curious to see the tines. I'll go lookup what I thought I saw. Since you were there, involved, and trustworthy....are you telling me that he did have better ets than all of the non nitrous 55ks? Hoenstly, I thought even you beat him . You've got to be close if you didn't.

You are probably looking at the vid when I raced him. He might have more passes than that but those are the slips posted. 11.108 @ 129.44 looks like his best pass. I dont remember E55ballers best pass but I think it was a hair slower. My best ET was a hair faster at 11.091 @ 124.57

Traction was an issue for many of us. Its was too cold for Jamie to hook last Saturday. Check out his 60ft in his record run compared to the slips above:

Then you did beat him, no? Going from there, why would it be so unreal that another 55k could? I never doubted the cat, track, or car. I just didn't understand why we couldn't mod ours enough to beat a stock car is all. Dude, you had a GREAT day!! I had forgotten about all of the issues you had building up for the event. Way to stay tru and strong..

I thought traction in the box was great, best I have had the privelage to run my BS on to date. I put down a 1.663, a 1.669 and a 1.673 60', my previous best was a 1.78. If traction in the box at MIR gets even better than this weekend was I would have to see it to believe it. Not to beat a dead horse, but it was the traction at the 1/8 point and beyond that sucked.
