Ya, I saw that a while back. Sounds great. I will give them a call to see if it is a prodution kit or just a one run deal. If it's sold as a kit I may have just found my new X-Mas present

My guess is that it is a one off... Rick bro, why do you need it to be a kit? If they did it once, they can do it again. Call em and spark a deal to showcase it here...What better car to show it on?

Actually, they announced the kit on that ML63 over a year and a half ago. This was a one off special order for somebody in Dubai I believe. I think Kleemann said that the turbos would fit ONLY the ML-Class and would not fit the E/CLS because there is just not enough room under the hood.
It'd would've been great if they offered it as a kit though

A few things to remember about turbo kits on 6.2s:
1) Remove the engine, swap slugs, rebalance, reinstall engine. Think about inconel exhaust and stainless intake valves. $7-9k
2) Cost of the kit itself would likely range from $15-20k
3) You're also going to need a built 7A to go with it: $10k
Don't get me wrong a turbo 6.2/4v would be the cats ***, 1000rw+ on 93 all day long would be NP, but it won't be cheap.

Nope, I don't think I could buy it if I wanted it. I heard about this months ago, what I have also heard is that they are having all kinds of problems with it, I don't think they have ever offered one for sale to public. Like I have said before, I looked into turbos 6 months ago, nobody is doing a reliable one on the 63, at least with any significant amount of boost.

Crank and rods are fine, as stated above new pistons (also rings) would be necessary along with a rebalance--that's all as far as the bottom end.

I think a low boost supercharger would do just fine on your car Haven't read the VRP63 kennebell post lately but I'm sure they will have it running with 0 bugs. Do you really need more than another 100-150whp? I have a feeling alot of the 63's will be blown before they are turbo'd. Really like your dymags BTW.

There is absolutely zero point in putting a 2.6 twin screw on a 11.3:1 motor unless the owner wants to run C16 all the time. You can get MAYBE 4-5psi on 93 octane out of one--I'd rather run a shot of spray or just H/C on the stock bottom end N/A. H/C will make more power than 4-5psi (though not as much tq) in a safer manner and not add 70-80lbs (blower/IC/fluids) to the front end of the car either. If 580-600rw with H/C isn't enough, go 7.0L stroker and 700rw on 100 octane.
is that good for a low 10 sec run on jims lightweight monster???
