Check out the new shoes!!!
They are 19's made by Monarch wheels (http://www.monarch-wheels.com/wheels.php). The lip is chrome and the face is polished with gunmetal windows. They are 2-3lbs lighter than the stock wheels.
I'm running Vredsteins 275/30 on the rears and 255/35 on the fronts. Wheel fitment was perfect. No problems with brake clearance. Simply a bolt on installation. I believe the offsets in the rears are 35et and the fronts are 30et. Also, the TPMS sensor swapped out perfectly.
I decided on this wheel as it is very affordable ($1600 for all 4), lighter than stock wheels yet larger, look like OEM amg wheels, and have a big lip. Enjoy!

Nice looking wheels, and even nicer price.
I will say though that I think multi-piece wheels look better in 20's on the W211 since it's such a big car. I agree with the others... lowering module is a must!

Here is my no lip version. Filthy car, wheels and taken with my BB, better than nothing. Have had them on for 3 weeks, love em. Interesting thing is my airmatic has a mind of its own post shutdown and usually sits high. Once I hit the unlock, drops back to normal (SportII)

Verdestein tires
I have been wondering how those Verdestein mount on and it seems that most people are correct. They are uni-directional and it seems that the tread is going opposite directions

Thanks for the compliments guys. I agree it needs to get lowered asap. My dealership tech tried to lower it via STAR but claims the computer wouldn't allow him to lower it any further. I wonder if someone has step by step directions that I can give my tech (search function wasn't entirely helpful).
