For those who think a Benz can't take the miles ...

I know these cars can handle more then 200k all day long... with little repairs
the more you drive the car .....the less issues you will have...

never was about the engine or tranny

its about all the electronic crap in these cars today as well as the crappy plastic they used for about a decade. I do have to say the new plastics they use seem to be holding up much much better.

Also the price now to fix all this fancy crap is incredibly expensive. It easily gets to the point where the fixes in a single year can cost 1/3 of the car's remaining value.

I've got over 193,000 on my 2003 E320. Still love it.

There are a handful of high mileage Mercedes.

But does anyone have any idea how high of a mileage can we expect from a "Supercharged" car?

I haven't looked, but perhaps the SC SLK230s maybe a good car to research since they've been out for many years.

The truth is for 99.9999999% of the owners of supercharged street driven vehicles is that 99.9% of the time you are under vacuum when you drive. Most superfcharged vehicles have a lower static compression ratio than their NA counterparts. For a great majority of the time the vehicle is on the road, it will see less stress on the engine due to the lower CR.

Yeah, I know there are people that will abuse the car and cause an early demise. However, there is no reason that it will not last as long as or longer than their NA counterparts. Look at turbo diesels. There are many in the million plus mile club.

This is an excellent point but the inverse applies to most owners on this forum.

As previously pointed out, it is all the electronic and plastic parts that tend to fail. Most of the major parts are pretty bullet proof.

This was for sale back when I was looking. The guy didn't want to budge on price but I thought it was $30k when I was looking over the summer. I ended up with a lower mileage one for several thousands less of course. I'm guessing he's not in a hurry to sell.

I always knew she would last mikey! 95 -27 = 68K miles you have put on the beast!

She would look good with a VRP engine cover & intake tubes!!!

I'll try to hook up with ya in late December old friend!!!
