Famoso Track Rental - Saturday 01/17/2009

Normally Famoso is down in December and January for maintenance and repairs, but looks like we're in luck 
They'll be back up before our rental date. I just confirmed the date with track owner himself. By the way, Famoso will be booked from March to October, so we actually have one more try in February if we wanted to 
Okay guys, so here we go........ we are confirmed to have the track on January 17th, 2009. Payment information will follow in the next couple of days, so please don't send payment yet. Looks like we have 18 people on the list already. Let the fun begin.....

I checked last year's weather at Famoso on the same date and it was -250 DA, now you going to change your plans to include northern california. I wish there was a bracket race on Sunday and I would stay and make some money back.
Juicee I'm going on a diet too, maybe wearing one of those Micheal Phelps swimsuits would do the trick to get you and me in the 11's

Wow man if you come it would be such an incredible challenge to beat you in the West Coast Extreme bracket race. Guys if Evan comes and you can beat his crossfire down the track on a timed tree , I for one will be suprised

MIKEY YOU GOTTA COME !!! I know first hand yer 55 should be in the top 5 as you launch so consistantly , the air at Famoso and potential tail wind hehe gives you a shot at the 11.05 record.

How many spots do you guys have available? I am pretty sure I'm going to be out there, but not sure if I'm going to be in any shape to race that morning. Where is the track? I'm goign to be in LA, Hollywood, how long of a drive?

Is anyone trailering there car or bringing a chase vehicle? I'm having my car shipped to Vegas and then driving it to LA, I will not have my hauler or any way to carry my spare tires. If I have them Fed Ex'ed out to my hotel in LA can somebody haul them to the track for me? I can't fit squat in my car because of the roll cage and the rear strut tower brace elimintes about 25% of my trunk space. I will also need 120 octane fuel, any shops in the area where I can get that?

Wow!!!! in less than 24 hours, we got almost 20 members. For our last rental, it took a month to get 10

Yes it is ok to come out, there are stands and a huge parking lot , bring a VIDEO camera as none of the guys seem to remember to take pics and post vids etc.
It would be great to have a White CLS supporting the other colors, is black a color? hell yeah , comon out

Hey Josh speaking of pix, My crew shot a few, I made a few passes learning the NOS setup and on one of the passes the ticket girl said the printer was jammed and to go to the booth if I wanted my ticket, I said " no thanks, I'm making a lot of passes today, I'll get the next one" Well there was no one there but me and the camera Taker (If you remember I was hot lapping) Here is the punch line, take a look at the time clock and tell me what you see:
