Props to all those modded benz's forced induction has some serious power in drag racing compared to naturally aspirated motors! Jcart black series with NOS is also a forced to be reckoned with Congrat!

On corrected DA calcultor with today of 1500 alot more cars should of dipped into the 10's!

I was happy to see my times corrected to 11.8 @ 122 after using the drag times calculator!

Famoso Results

Ahhh...... I don't know where to start.... I'm tired and beat up, so I'll give you guys a short summary from memory. It was hard to remember everybody's runs since people ran a million times with different configurations and then everybody ran everybody else's car and it got really confusing. First, weather started out good with -400 ft DA at 8:00 a.m. but climbed to 1800 ft by 11:30 a.m. Weather did NOT cooperate today, as temps reached a high of 72 today, but so many people still broke their records, and it was worth it just meeting everyone and enjoying a good day of drag racing, and I'm really glad everyone had fun

Thanks to Blake for letting us run out there for an extra hour (we ran till 5 instead of 4) despite it costing him an extra hour of overtime for all employees.

Okay, so the best I could do today in my car was 12.55, but chiromikey was able to run a 12.22 @ 115.x chiromikey is one heck of a driver. I think he drove 4 other cars today and was able to beat the owners' best records. Thanks again Mikey for showing up and for driving our cars to the extreme

- GTR did a best of 11.33 @ 125 (not 100% sure on traps)

- chiromikey pulled an 11.24@ 124 I believe.

- Rarfinancial hit 11.91 @ 119 N/A and 11.66 @ 121 on 70 shot But what was even more impressive was that Lisa ran an 12.0 in the CLS @ 118+

- Porsche ran 11.0 all day until the 10.80s @ 133 mph but I believe he trapped higher earlier at 136 mph

- Juicee was able to dip into the 12.20s today, but the car was not running in optimal conditions.

- Max.H ran 11.98 in his stock E55 with lots of room for improvement in a DA of +1700 ft and 72 F temp

- BENZGal's super secret RennTech machine performed exceptionally well today with an 11.35@124+

- JakPro1 was our Mystery Guest and he hit 11.60s today, but had to leave early. I'm so glad you came down here Jim, it was a blast meeting you and riding shot gun in your car.

- I think bluemonster ran 11.50s and bassn_07 hit the 11.40s with Mikey's help....

- The Challenger is now The Quickest/Fastest One In The Country as he hit 11.40s @ 120 multiple times Chris (426Hemi), you're the man bro....

- Steve (sgtstanko) ran 11.60 @ 117 N/A and 11.12@120 on NOS

- jrcart ran 11.04 @ 128 and a bunch of other 11.0s @ 127 and his car sounded terrific on the track

- YoungMedic ran 11.66 @ 115 (supercharged Jeep SRT8)

- Terry335 is a legend man..... no matter how good or bad the DA is, he always manages to run BEST TIMES.... I think he ran 11.80s at over 120

- Sal of course ran 11.27 @ 125, but he did trap 126.x mph on one of the runs Sal, your car can easily do 10s in cooler weather and lower DA. The DA on your run was at 1640 ft by the way.

- The M5s were one of the best looking ones I've seen and also best sounding. They both kept running flat 12s @ 121 and 120.... Thanks guys for joining us, it was a blast meeting you and running with you down the track

- The M3 ran 12.20s all day and would've easily hit 11.90s if the limiter problem from 1st to 2nd shift was fixed on time or ran in cooler weather. Joseph, you'll hit 11s next time bro

- Most Stage 5 E55s were running 11.40s to 11.60s

- Evan ran 11.80s in his crossfire SRT6 in 1800 ft of DA Thanks for coming out here again man, it was pleasure meeting you.

Sorry if I've forgotten anybody's times, please post them up when you can guys

2005 Crossfire SRT-6
I just got back home in vegas..............what a long and interesting day. I learned two key things today. 1)Never rely on someone else to bring your fuel 2)Don't drive 300+ miles to race when you can't bring your slicks. I didn't get my fuel until about 10:30am and spun the tires like hell on every pass(even launching at 1200rpms and rolling into throttle). My car also decided it wanted to throw a cylinder 6 misfire code after my first run. Ohh well even with all the excuses I still managed to barely get a new PB of 12.31@114.48 with a 2.0 60'.

When I left Cruizinquick had a new PB of 11.89 @ 1xx.xx in his Crossfire and
WagonTom got a new PB of 12.77@109.xx in his Magnum

Forgot to mention that one of the funniest races that took place was between Rarfinancial and the Challenger (I think piloted by Bryce)..... On one of their races, they happen to take off the line at almost EXACTLY the same time, then they accelerated together at almost EXACTLY the same rate, and as they were going down the track, they kept looking at each other while both stomping the gas pedal as hard as they could, but it almost seemed that neither of them was moving (from inside their cars)..... Anyways, they kept on trying to beat each other until even after the 1/4 mile mark was passed and they're still flooring it ...... even then, they kept going faster and faster, as each of them was trying to beat the other, but soon there was no more road left to run on and both of them had to brake abruptly at the end

On their following runs, I remember the guy telling them "you guys DO KNOW that this is only a 1/4 mile race, not a 1/2 mile race.... right?" And they both knotted... yeah....

Great time at the track today guys! My car was not cooperating (needs new diverter valves I think) so I had to abort most high boost runs. Then did a lot of lower boost testing. But ran a couple 11.8s@119 on the higher boost maps! Thanks again Mo for putting this together!

No problem Terry, it's always a pleasure watching your car set records at the track........ even when it's not running at it's best, it beats records

After trying numerous race seats, we finally settled on the LIGHTest seat.

Milk crate.

Very hard to obtain, possible chance of getting caught, the felony arrest and so on. Very hard to do..........

But, It is worth 3 mph and 0.3 in quarter.....................

Sal, great job!!!!

Cams are next and than we are talking 10s.............

First I would like to thank Mo and friends for setting up the drag day. You have a very strong E63. I had an awesome time!!!!

I was gunning for an 11 sec run in my stock E55 and towards the end of the day I got it!!! 11.96@118.3mph. It was my first time on the track with this car. I wasn't too happy with the 60 foots. But, I am not going to make excuses. It was cool to finally put some names to faces and meet new people as well. So far this new year has been very good to me, and today was the icing on the cake!

Big props to Sun, Ed, Serg and the HMS crew for blasting 11.40s and 11.64 at well over 120mph!!

BTW I totally forgot about the 1800 ft DA we had today. Thanks Sorab, I think I need to check out that DA calculator now..

It was great meeting everyone again, and helping out around the pits till it got dark! Really appreciate the extra work to get us the great lunch too. And thanks again for bringing the race fuel to the track at a great price too. (I got a can for my trip to Sacramento) . Mo what a great job you did in making this work with the everchanging participant list, and coordinating with track management.

Thanks Max, it was great meeting you and seeing your car run stronger and stronger as the day got hotter and hotter your run definitely corrects down to 11.80s, which puts you up there with the fastest stock E55s in the country

Just wanted to say thank you to Mo for keeping me (and all of us) informed and doing a good job organizing things. Also a special thanks for pushing for the extra hour, thanks

Thank you to Brad @ Evosport for bringing my drag tires down and putting them on, and putting my street tires back on afterwards.

Special thanks to Jrcart for providing me with some fuel so I could make it to a gas station after the event as I had maybe a 1/4 of a gallon left.

Special thanks to tequila, which after these next few margaritas is going to make my 12.2 look like an 11.9.

Thanks Mo for setting everything up!

Thanks to HYEVON Motors for makin my car into a beast!

Thanks to Chiromikey for lettin me borrow your wheels! (Yer a lifesaver)

As for me...I started out running an 11.7 @ 120. Then everything went downhill as I just couldn't hook up with my Nitto 555R's. Then I asked Chiromikey if I could borrow his wheels for a couple runs and he was kind enough to let me use them. Thanks again Mike! I finally got some traction and ran a

11.4 @ 122.

A new personal best for me...

Thanks again to everyone that made this event possible. I had a freakin blast! We need to do this again soon!

Great runs bro. You need drag radials and you should touch high 11's. What are your 60ft times? I have multiple M5's in the high 11's with just bolt on's.
