You missed out on the m5board trash talking a while back. I got banned from there. People didnt want to believe a highly modded 55 would beat an M5, remember the Gusfag video of the K4 E55 losing to a M5?
Don't sweat it, Gustav is a retard. He temp banned me when I said I beat an M5. God forbid an M5 loses.

While I am out there in California I would like to make some near sea-level Mexico runs. Would any of you local guys be able to show me a good spot in Mexico where I can attempt to break my 206 mph record. I want to hit at least 210. I wonder what would happen if I sprayed a 150 shot at about 200mph , do you think those speeds would affect A/F significantly?

Ever done that in Mexico? I dont think you'll find a safe spot in Mexico to do 200+, Roads suck there, there skinny also, I think Arizona has some good spots I know some of the LX guys have ran out there 185+.

Oh and try and film that stuff, Id luv to see you hit it with a 150 shot at 200mph, that would be sick!

LOL, you had me rolling on that man.

Not at you promise. It's just that we call every high speed run "Mexico" as we don't want to end up like this guy.

Granted the kid on the video was an idiot but it shows how fast things can blow up nowdays.

Ya, those self made vids crack me up..........goes right in line with

"here, hold my beer, watch this"

Like 426 was saying, out in AZ we have our proving grounds and more then a few guys have found the top end to our rides.

Well I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys have done with your rides, this should be a interesting and educational day. Thanks again for inviting us along. And this weekend is looking great for Sac. So as of right now, it's on for Saturday. 426 and I will be heading out tomorrow a little after noon if anyone wants to tag along.

I think this trip should qualify me as a contender in the "Most Well Traveled AMG" category. All within 60 days my car will have travled from Chicago to Maryland/DC (MIR), back to Chicago, from Chicago to Dallas, Dallas to Chicago, Chicago to Vegas, Vegas to LA, LA to Dallas, Dallas to Houston and Houston to Chicago...try to top that.

I hope they work, you're going to need them and then some...Like I said before, I've got another suprise going on my car too

I'm going to show you west coast boys (and girl) how we do it in the midwest, if I can talk Marko into going as well, we'll both show you guys what 10 second MB's look like.

This is going to be great!!! Thanks for coming out Jim. I will see you at MIR in March also, I am making the plan as we speak, just waiting for the date . My wife just gave me my X-MAS present, It's in a huge grate that's stamped GERMANY 7.1 FULL AMG KIT I don't want to open it, anyone know what this might be? JIM? ANYONE?
Oh, by the way, the CLS looks wild with the body off the frame

marko... but YOU haven't gone 10's yet. regardless, if you want to do it out on the west coast you better bring all your surprises including a bigger bottle and on top of that not be afraid to stay in it at the top end, cause we're going to show you what it's like to race in postive da.

Not only positive DA, The best prepped track in California does not come close or even compare to the east coast tracks let alone MIR (the best and fastest track in the country). Of course that's in addition to the DA + humidity + actual track elevation + bad air quality

But at least at Famoso, we'll have all the above bad conditions minimized more than any other track in California.

I know all about running in positive DA, take a look at the DA on most of my previous record setting runs. I went 11.4's (on motor)at +1200...it took JT55 -2500 at MIR to match that motor only e/t. I still don't know why you guys think we have perfect conditions at our midwest tracks, most of them are 600-900 feet above sea level and the heat and humidity is a killer. Once and a while we luck out with some great conditions, but for the most part the air here sucks during the months our tracks are open. Remember our tracks around Chicago close down early to mid October and don't open up until early April at the earliest weather permitting. AS for having the ***** to stay in it...it has noting to do with ***** and everything to do with brains, bragging rights are not worth walling my car, have you ever bounced your car off the rev limiter because of wheel spin at 120 mph? I doubt you have, It's not fun. I plan on a little bigger shot 125-150, but it might be usleless if it just spins the tires up, but I have installed a little fix for that problem (I hope) .
