slipping supercharger belt and/or supercharger. my car did a similar thing when i rolled intho throttle slowly and floored it, i replaced the sc belt and it got a lot better.....now the only jerk i get is when the sc clutch slips.

its the clutch engagement...

try to drive in C mode when you are using the pedal lightly..

switch to S mode when you mean business.

it only happens if you have a light input at around 2k (in S Mode).. the engagement at time is harsh

I also found disconnecting my negative terminal from my rear battery works to reset everything and things improve.

Also, if your belt is over 1 year old.. probably a good idea to get a new one.

if you just replaced it then it shouldn't be slipping. my belt was old.

either replace the SC clutch which is around 700 from dealership and is a fairly simple DIY or just adapt your driving style to avoid that jerk... as somone mentioned the only time it will really happen is in S mode in 2nd gear and around 2000 RPM.

All it is is the Supercharger engaging. Do a search here look for "chirp"
Don't worry it is normal, you see the SC is not always on. At idle it is off and the bypass is open, as you accelerate (800-1600)the by pass closes and the electro magnetic clutch engages. This throws a load on the engine for an instant until boost is obtained then the engines output increases greatly. That is what you feel as a jerk. This transition is why AMG went to a NA 63 they got too many complaints. Once you get more wheel time you will learn when the SC comes in.
BTW no way I can floor the gas with out the ESP/TC taking control, and if I turn it off the tires spin excessively.

I would check the SC clutch. I had the same issues when letting off the gas in 1st or 2nd, a brutal shift would occur approx 20% of the time. Had the clutch replaced under warranty and the issue was gone.

NO, it won't erase your ECU settings..

it will clear all your drive adaptable parameters..
