Anybody have CLS offset wheels on a E class

Used wheels for CLS and SL are much cheaper than W211 Eclass wheel and I was wondering if they will fit our cars. ANybody know

Any AMG Thats Around..
I have CLS500 non-sport wheels on my W202 (1999 C Class) They are a rather aggressive fit due to their widths on my small car...

The CLS factory wheels are a perfect fit on the SL's and vice-versa....

The bolt patterns are the same, they will bolt up..... But with the different Offsets you might not like how they sit under the car.. Or have a slight rubbing issue...

On my car the front wheels are pushed out just a slight hair from the fender... If it was anymore out then it is i would of taken them off....

Heres a link to the thread, CLS wheels on C

From what I understand cls55 wheels will fit on a w211 e55 they will stick out 3mm more than the stock wheels which is not to bad.
The catch is that the stock tire size on the cls55 is too big for the w211 e55 you will need to get a lower profile tire for it to look right and prevent rubbing issues.

I have them on my E55 now..

I bought them last week.

Search CLS55 wheels on this forum and you will see a few samples.

It rained yesterday and will continue raining.. therefore I have not posted any pictures.

You will need 275/30/19 on the rears (instead of 285/30)

and

245/35/19 (instead of 255/35)

The fronts are just about perfect even if the offset pushes the wheel out...

on the rear the offset pushes the wheel a bit more.. more than stock but looks good.

these wheels look huge on a E class and makes the car look very aggressive. The ride is good.. the wife approves.

I wish I could shave off a bit of the rear rim to make it push in a bit more.. but most people will never know the difference.

Car needs a Star sys lowering to make it look just right for most car enthusiast.. but to most people it looks great.

This man knows what he's talking about... Here's a pic of the CLS55 wheels on my car back in 2006, there's a slight rubbing but if you change the tires (front/rear), then there's no rubbing at all. Pictures below are with 255/285 tires.

I was thinking of spending $1000 to 1500 for the similar style 18"'s that come in the sport E550 or 350.. or E63 wheels

but I could not find them.. at a good price..

my next choice was the new style 18" from the CLS550 AMG package.. similar to the E63 wheels but with they are not dark gray.

third choice was getting similar style OEM E55 wheels but wider versions. Wheels from CL, CLS, SL

I'm glad I went with the 19's...

I thought, but I may be wrong, that the CLS and the SL wheels from wheels offset will make the wheel sit under the wheel well giving a weak appearance instead of the desired aggressive appearance.???

At least that is what HRE told me, I came close to getting a set for my E55 that came off a CLS

SL wheels fit a lot better then CLS wheels...I have already seen several lowered 211s with CLS rims and fender arches that were ruined (caused by slight angled wheels when (slowly) driving over a speedbump or driveway bump...I had 19inch CLS rims under my own E55 for temporary use and disliked the front wheels every single minute (knowing what they can do to the fender arches).

The CLS wheels are the best stock MB offset for the E.

Hmmm.... I guess I may be part ra-tard. I could have swarn I was told the CLS wheels offset would not fit the E's. Oh well... they look great though.

I have OEM CLS63 wheels on my W211, and the stock wheels fit fine, you will need someone with STAR to adjust the suspension settings for fitment.

I now have 245 in front and 285 in back. Picture was 255 front and 285 Rear

yup i have them on my E500 and they fit fine...the 255/285 tires don't rub unless you are slammed but getting the 245/275 would be better.

OEM cls wheels, 285/30 with even rolled fenders rubs like the mother *****. 275/30 is the way to go. Slammed... of course, who drives cars in 4x4 mode.

2008 Mecedes E550 4matic
Will Cls amg wheels fit on my 2008 E550 4matic?

Can anyone help me with this question?

Interested to purchase 19 inch CLS Amg wheels with 255/35/19 tires all around.

Front rims are 9J with Et37
Rear rims are 10J with Et47.

The stock rims are 8.5J all around due to the 4matic. What worries me the most is will these will mess with the 4matic system because I don't want problems in the future.

Looking forward to anyone's help or input.

Thanks Sam
