It's abvious now he doesn't think his is faster on the road course, a three year old can figure that out. How about in the 1/4? Who's faster? I'm calling Pinks to set this one up, j/k.....but not a bad idea....hmmmm. .
So long as there's a metal detector and pat-down at the entrance to WSIR then I'm sure all will go smoothly. That being said, if the race is wheel to wheel with a 2.000 headstart for Jangy then not even that will save things.

I'll run for more $ on pinks if Jangy coughs up some loot, things are looking a little lop sided in the prize money category.

Have your son forward the link below to Rich, that should grab his attention.

I so hope this happens. I've always said that Pinks could easily broaden their fan base if they would just run some fine german automobiles. They need to break away from the backyard built dragsters and realize that you don't have to be a country boy to enjoy racing. No offense intended to anyone.

Yes, and he's a very good rider of motorcycles.
I would assume Jangy could even beat Micheal Schumacher in a 5 lap race if you just dropped him in a car he has never driven before and on a track he has never seen in his life. Furthermore we all know Jangy has many mods, even if I went out and purchased an E55 it would most likely be stock.

I wouldn't take that to the bank. He would be faster on his second flying(and I do mean flying) lap that your adversary has ever dreamed of turning.

I love taking my C55 and 135i to lapping events on road courses, so this duel between Jangy and JRCart on a REAL "track" is the most interesting thing I've seen here compared to the straight line drag racing I read so much about.

Even my little C55 can totally outun a E55 at Mosport which is a high speed track with a very long back straight, so I can't imagine a E55 will have any chance against a CLK63 BS on anything that has twisties.

For Jangy to have any chance, it would have to be a wheel to wheel race. If Jangy can manage to get out in front and then drive defensively (very skillfully) to make it hard for JRcart to pass, then he has a chance. It all depends how wide the track is and whether there are good passing zones for a faster car behind. Of course, if Jangy can't even get out in front of JRcart, then it's game over from the first lap.

Jangy, if you actually commit to the race we'll pay for your track fees at Willow. One less thing to worry about, and one less excuse for you to make...

Jim, dig it up and post it. You keep saying the same thing but won't dig it up?

There is no malicious intent. Yes, I want to man to man talk to Jim before I will race. Not fight, but set things straight. That is part of the reason I am willing to screw my son on his birthday and drive 4 hours to the track. the Other part is I think it will be fun. I may and likely won't win the bet but what happens when the E doesn't get spanked as badly as the peanuts think?

The race isn't "fair" but again Jim is putting up $5k and I am not. You want fair? Give me a 10 second start and see if you can catch up. Fair won't happen because that isn't what this is about is it?

Wheel to wheel is the option I want. I have no chance otherwise.

The Vette showed and lost. Not because of reaction time but et. We agreed on here before the meet that et was the guage we were after. Had I gone to MIR, we were betting on et only. Since then, I learned what trap speeds even indicate.

I won't even respond to the personal stuff.

And BTW, why is it that you pick the situation and terms everytime you want to race me but I "back down"?

This sounds like a guy who isn't going to show up. JRCart, what are you paying for odds on whether he shows up?

Ok, 10 seconds, what is the rest of the race? How many laps? Rolling or Standing start?

Fair, you want to talk about fair? You have the faster car I thought. Jangy, you started this mess and now I am going to mortgage my evening sifting through your thousands of posts to make you eat your words and prove you wrong once again.

Here's one on Jangy's Post's from another thread...sorry, but I can't figure out the proper cut and paste Now correct me if I'm wrong Jangy but that looks like a challenge in which you challenged me to a $10,000 bet...and then backed out when I loaded up my car and called your bluff.

The following is a Jangy post...these are not my words

When and where, jim? You are right, I want sooner. My car will be ready next week. Are you not planning a Vegas trip SOON? Lets do it there, if you are coming anyways. Let me know. The bet will be maybe $10k? I know you have it but I gotta make sure my Blackjack funds allow it.

Vadim..... Go nuts, bro!! Can VRP make a E55 that is faster than Jim's black series? Not the one in his head, but the one on the road.

That list of mods is cute. That poor car is gonna be down for a LOOONG time when you attempt them, so lets get this over with while you only put 511 to the floor.

10 second head start for a five lap race. That would be awesome.

Jim, I finally saw your car on HIN, and it looked amazing.

10 seconds, hmmmm well the M5 beat the E55 by 3 seconds around that track so you should be able to beat him within 3 laps. Make it a 4 lap race with a 10 second head start.

Hey - We are gonna have the track to ourselves. Why not run the road course against eachother, then we shut the track down for a half hr or so and let you two just run the front straight and drag it out ??
