If anyone wants a line-lock kit before this next event, let me know. This is what allowed the M3 and the CLKBS to sit in one spot and achieve the desired burnout!

At the moment, I'm awaiting the owner's response at doing it on Saturday Night instead of Friday Night, so I'll let you know as soon as I can

Saturday or Friday does not matter to me, but if Saturday night is possible sounds like that will be much more flexible for most people.

Quick UPDATE:
==========
I just finally got hold of the track owner, and I didn't get any good news at all: the Famoso Open Night Test N Tunes on 21st and 28th are actually 2 day events, which means we can NOT run on Saturday night or even Friday night because people will be camping in the parking lot starting Friday night and will actually sleep in their motor homes parked in the parking lot all the way through the weekend.
This leaves either Sunday night from 6 to 10 p.m. or a weeknight that is away from the weekend, such as, a Tuesday night or Wednesday night.
Of course, Saturday the 14th is still open and Sunday the 15th is still open, but I know the ladies will hate that
After February is over, we can forget about Famoso until November unless you guys want to try running in 105 F temps
By the way, we're also on a waiting list for a Friday or Sunday at Fontana....
I have to say, all this is making Sacramento much much more attractive. We can just head out there on an open night test n tune, pay for extra track prep and start running.
What do you guys think..... I need some help here

I might be able to ... anyone going from the bay area?
My biggest problem is I don't have room to put my extra rear tires/rims in my car. I don't want to get another blown tire without a backup.

I know bassn & blueknight are going up. I think one of them may be in the east bay.

The only chance for that weekend would be on Sunday Night maybe from 6 to 10 p.m. but that would put a burden on people who have to travel a long distance especially at night

I'm definitely going for sure unless it rains. As for Blueknight, he should chime in soon and let us know. Since Famoso is not going as planned Sacramento is always available.... Many say hit or miss but if it's on everyone will be going home with new records, if we get good weather. I also posted something up on mymbonline but those guys are more into cruising then racing.

It would be nice to see some of you guys at Willow on the 19th...racing is racing the way I look at it. Willow's front straight is over a 1/4 mile long, just think of the rest of the track as a really long return road with no speed limit

Ok just checked the calendar count me in for the 7th as well.
Jesse, bassn_07 lives in SJ but I think he will be taking his drags. I can help you out but we have to figure out how & where to hook up.

I guess I'm either going to the NASCAR race at Fontana or driving to Vegas to party.

Okay guys, Sacramento on the first weekend of February was actually supposed to be cooler than this weekend, but had a chance of rain. Well the forecast has changed. Now that first Saturday in Feb is actually going to be warmer at around 64F than this weekend (61F). Wish it were a little cooler, but it looks like this weekend will otherwise be about perfect with even a 1mph or so tail wind. Slight cloudiness (good thing). So I am definitely heading up.
It would be nice to see some of the MB guys up there too! Too bad you can't find someone with a truck hauler to carry all those cars up there from SoCal for those of you afraid of putting miles on your car!
Since Team Vishnu (Terry's competitor) removes their seats for their runs, I have decided to do the same to have a chance of breaking their records with a tune only engine. (Stock exhaust, intercooler, etc etc.) My car is definitely running faster, (118mph traps), but I can't get any traction. With my Hoosiers set at 20psi, they just light up 30ft out even taking off in 2nd gear! I can be crusing down the road at 30mph on my street tires, and the car gets sideways when I give it gas. I can't even get better than a 2.0 60ft on the Hoosiers now, running 12.1s at 118mph., so traction is going to be a concern. If enough people are going too bad we couldn't give the track personnel a few extra bucks to pay for some more VHT and lane priority.
As it is now test and tune this Saturday is 12-4pm and is only $50. Starting next month they even have Weds night street legal drags for only $15. However, I hear night time is very slippery.
Well let me know if any else of you can make it up this weekend. Right around noon, the temps should be around mid 50s, so not too bad at all.
