I have yet to be pulled over once. I've had local cops, sheriffs, and CHP driving right behind me and even while I was speeding a bit (5-10 over) and I barely get a look..

Not to mention, I STILL don't have license plates on my car either lol. I would go as far as to say that my E is a police deterrent.

The police don't seem to even take a second look at me. There aren't many AMG's around here. More M3's than anything, and the cops are all over those, especially the older bright yellow ones.

Yeah thankfully my E is not on that top 10 though I share the same engine.
Most of the cops around here, I know, and spend more time drooling over my ride then giving me tickets.

My dad has a black 2008 M5 and cops love to stop him. I noticed that E's don't really get much attention from cops, which is a good thing for me. It seem that when cops see E's they think a granny or a mom is driving it.

So I would think that Ms should be cop magnets as well.

So far my E has gone unnoticed with the exception of the time I was dumb enough to leave a "patch" at an intersection on my way to the speed limit in front of a cop. He pulled me over, lectured me, and let me go. Frankly, I'm not sure this guy knew what an AMG was or I may have gotten a "display of speed ticket". In my defense, I was on my snow tires at the time and had traction off so they were very easy to spin as it was COLD.

I was dumb and did the same thing. Poor traction conditions as well. I did not leave a patch, the FK-452 do squeel a lot when slipping. So it was more of a loud chirp-chirp-chirp, and the exaust note. It was night so the cop waiting at the stop sign behind another car on the other side of the intersection did not pick me out because it was an AMG.

I get pulled over in bunches it seems. I have been trouble free for 3 months but prior to that I was pulled over 4 times in 2 months! I think cops just like higher end cars in general. Im sure the AMG badge doenst help though to those cops who know what it is.
