Yep... Bosch, the Bosch & MB part numbers are on the injector.

I found this interesting though... The injectors for the 55 have 4 holes and the SLR has 6 holes... Where the SLR injectors achieve better atomization which helps power and efficiency.

Wonder what this would translate into power?

Must try a set out...

Is there any other difference in the intake downstream of the injector? if not it would be a good upgrade.

We sell upgraded injectors and can get them in most sizes. They are an advanced design using a magnetic disc for better atomization. They are about 0.25" larger then stock in height though, so spacers and some modification is necessary. They're also a ton cheaper then OEM MB parts.

No, injectors aren't supposed ot be replaced unless they go bad. The SLR injectors aren't even that much more than the 55k injectors (about $10 more/injector from MB) but if someone could get the Bosch p/n off one we could get it for even cheaper! I have all the MB part numbers if anyone wants them

Only problem for me is if I go to the SLR injectors I have to completely get rid of my Kleemann fuel pressure regulator and TOTALLY remap all the fueling tables.

eep

from what i understand 6 spraying insted of 4 helps with cooling better, but if flow is the same does not = more power

factoring the work need with maps as you said hmmmm maybe ill move it way way down on the to do/ maybe wish list

good luck though and how is the new Tabasco Breather ?

Yea that is what I hear dtoo, better atomization of the fuel.

Well since you already have a 55k pump and everything all you need is a retune probably. I dont think there would be any large gains by going from 55k injectors to slr injectors though

Works really well. Just got car back yesterday. That and the bigger intake/maf piping is what is causing me to need more fuel
