Jrcart- Call Out Time
#26
Jrcart, let's race. You say you're a "road racer" so let's find out. Come down to VIR in one week. We race the same car so no doubt remains afterwards. I can supply the car or you can. I dare say that I'll beat you in your own car.
Here's the wager. If you win, then I never post here again, and I'll contribute $5k to the charity of your choice. If I win, you never post here again AND you learn the English language.
PS This is a lie-

HOLY CRAP!!!!!! you have got to be kidding me, No ****ING way did he do a 21 at RA. ESPECIALLY since he only managed a 1:39.3 at Willow which is NOT a hard track to cut a quick lap on. BTW a cup car (like he said was running at RA) can get around Willow in 1:21....

What makes you guys so sure he was lying? His car is as capable as a GT3 at Willow, it has already been detailed in a thread here and in the black Series section his car was in LIMP MODE most of the day.
Im truly curious as I have no idea what running a 21 at RA actually entails.
TIA

A Porsche GT3 cup car driven by a pro driver only does a 2:20 at Road America. Need I remind you this is what he said
There were a couple of Porsche Cup cars running that day and they were only putting down 12's and 13's in full race trim, slicks and pro drivers, si I suprised and impressed myself.
oh and a 1:39 at Willow, is as fast as a SCCA Showroom Stock C car goes (Ford Focus)
BTW I'm not at this point saying that his car is slow, I'm saying the driver is

Well damn. Someone is actually ***** out ready to take on JRCart. Let's make this actually happen, with video please. This is beginning to feel like a girl pillow fight on Friday night.
If this event does not happen, I pose a third option in the bet: this to the bet participants, you don't post on MBWorld anymore period, but before you go, admit you are a wimp and you send a check for $5K to keep MBWorld going.
That really puts it out there to make this really happen and makes it really interesting.
I have had so much popcorn lately, I feel as though I will bust.![Popcorn](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/popc1.gif)

I would surmise one of the following:
1 - Derek got tired of reading his posts that keep demeaning people and finally snapped.
2 - JR sent Derek a PM that made him snap.
Either way I am now subscribed to the show. The part of giving the winnings to a charity is a nice touch.

For the love of god...Please GET A ROOM! ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
BTW, I would love to see a documented 2:19 at Road America in a CLK BS as I know what our race group runs and that isn't too far of a Swift 014 Atlantic Car!

You call this an attempt at a call out...LOL!
If I need to learn the English language you just need to learn how to read. If you knew how to read, while doing all your cutting and pasting you would have surely found the countless threads that I have posted in over the past couple weeks stating that I will be in California next week running my car at Willow. Convienently you try to call me out to Virginia when you know that me and my are are going to be 3000 miles away on the opposite coast.
Now, lets get on with discussing your wager/offer. Since you doubt my lap times at Road America I say we just do it there and kill two birds with one stone. As for the wager itself....VERY LAME! Is that the best you can come up with? $5000.00, Jangy even came up with a better figure than that. I understand tht you are probably over financed and over extended, but if you are going to try to call someone out you better at least make it worth their while. We need to work on that wager a little bit. I have already proven that I will haul my car from coast to coast and back to race. So here is my offer(s) 1) you can hop in that ugly green hauler of yours, (I would not drive that thing to a ***** fight, let alone a race track) and start driving west to California and run me at Willow next Thursday the 19th or we set up a date this spring at RA.
