hhhhmnmmm,
can someone shed some light on approx. how difficult / how much money this would cost.
I'm assuming there are only a few shops out there that can make the proper plate and help modify the s/c inlet
TIA

i can get my own plate made so this sounds like a nice option. will you supply the instructions/measurements for making the plate and swapping parts to the new tb?

Is 82mm the biggest we can get right now? So you send us the bare TB and the electronics just swap over? Awesome!

Vic....honestly...u are awsome bro........This is a great option.

Its a MB part right? The wiring is a direct fit without modification?

I guess I jumped the gun a little on the 160mm single blade.....85-90mm is probably good enough HP-wise and is a good trade off for drivebility. Excellent points about a non stock location requiring alot of cutting for a filter and 4 inch tube.

Im sold.

I may be the guinea pig on this one since he still has my car in the shop.

edit: Sorry Kleeman compadres...Just heard from Vadim that it's not possible since the inlet cannot be modified without sending the entire SC unit to Denmark since Brandon is not set up Inlet modifications. The OEM SCs having a separate housing that can be removed and modified but not us.

Any machine shop can port the sc inlet. You dont need to send it to Denmark or Kleemann

Sounds like a bit more work. You think it's worth it? Keep me posted if you do decide to proceed.

A quick question about twin 74mm...

Could the inlet manifold be made of welded aluminum, or would it have to be a cast piece...?

Did some more digging. The inlet can indeed be removed from the Kleemann sc. The only problem is that there is a O-ring that is approximately 80mm integrated into the inlet. Either we need to get a new inlet and bracket CNC'd (probably very expensive) or the max we can go is approximately 80mm with a machined inlet size to match. I am actively looking into our options and will share any info I get. Even with the 80mm upgrade we should see ~30chp which to me is a significant amount! I dont have the funds to R&D making CNC'd pieces but if you do I will buy the final product off you.

It can be made out of both...aluminum preferred.

just machine the inlet to 82mm and use a paper gasket you don't need the o-ring...
