any phoenix people want hit firebird on friday (3/6)?
a couple of friends are heading out and I need to find out how much tq I lost by removing my cats. anyone interested in going?

I won't be able to make it as I'll be in Vegas until Saturday evening. I'd like to get out there myself before it gets too hot out here to see what my VR550 did for me.

i DEFINITELY lost tq by removing my 200cell race cats. against my personal experience i decided to listen to what many people have been saying about needing to open up our exhaust as much as possible. i seriously doubt the upper end hp gain will be worth the tq i've lost through the low and mid range...at least not without a new tune, but we'll see what the track has to say.

since we just hosted nhra the last two weekends, the track was hooking HARD!!! lol, too bad i couldn't take advantage of it.
i knew some tq was missing after i removed the cats and my 60ft times backed my butt dyno impressions. unfortunately, i didn't seem to pick up any significant mph on the top end like i hoped. but to be honest, i really need to calculate da and dig up some comparable timeslips before i panic any more jump to further conclusions.
