Any new info on arrival times?
I wonder what 525bhp is going to do to the acceleration?
I am starting to get used to the w212...
MODS: Should we have a own section for the W212 AMG so we can start speculating BIG TIME!!!

I can be done now, plenty of aftermarket LED strip companies
seen it on older porsches and audi done nicely,,

the front of the new E class is great,,
its the rear that is UGLY as a Aborted fetus run over by a mack truck.

christ, like a mutant genetic hybrid between HYUNDAI
and HONDA in a bad way..no imagination with the taillights,,
and there are too many damn body panel creases like the JAP cars have now, lost the beautuful flow of the W 211
I have seen in person the 212 car, and the interior is SIN too,
alot cheaper with alot of plastic, and fake metal, and aluminum,
square corners that end abruptly
and lots of cheap carryovers from the CHRYSLER 300 and C 63
if they would give the car the C 63 rear end, and the S63 interior
would be a perfect merc.
I think maybe like frankenstein I will combine all 3 for the perfect merc
lol

Has anyone seen the preliminary torque numbers on the W212 AMG yet? I love the torque curve in my E55 and I'll be curious to see how the new one compares, even with 525HP.

I think anyone who pays anything close to msrp for one of these Hyundais is crazy.

They never should have gone away from the round head lights and the rear quarter panels are a "what were they thinking". They should have improved on the current model. The W211 is a great car that can be improved upon. What they did was wipe it out and now are producing a way overpriced Camry.

The bottom line is the W211 is in the league of Rolls Royce as far as classic design goes. The W212 is in the league of Toyota and Hyundai. MB should have left one of their cars with a traditional look. That would have been the E class in my mind with all the history it had. Just take a look at the E classes from history here: http://www.edmunds.com/mercedesbenz/eclass/history.html you get my point.

i personally dont really like the new look.. both of the W211 are more aggressive and just smoother.. god i hate how companies are trying to make cars more futuristic and failing.. Audi R8 is the only car that was done properly for futurism purposes.
