Dyno CL65 with DHM Exh Cut outs-Stock tune
Well, I finally pulled the trigger...I removed primary cats and installed electric DHM cut outs. The sound is pure rawness when open, not recommended for cruising in a quiet hood. I love the sound however it’s great at high way speeds. At WOT the car sounds like a formula 1 car. Love it!! can’t complain. The greatest gain of this mod is not only the sound but the HP gains…that's right, I gained some ponies!!. Roughly 25 rwhp. Keep in mind the car has a stock tune once tune is modified it will gain more as I have a feeling it is running a bit lean.
This is how I broke the pulls down….my first pull last year or say highest was 560rwhp with trunk reservoir full of ice. This was my somewhat of my measurement for a starting point
1st pull- Ice and cut outs closed- 555.77 Vs last year 560 rwhp stock exhaust.
2nd pull- Did not fill tank with Ice, kept same cooled water but open the cut outs- 578 rwhp
3rd pull- threw one bag of Ice and left cut outs open- 580rwhp
As you can see Ice definitely keeps the power levels up…the only problem I wish I could have read was the torque readings. We just don’t know how to….
The graph is a bit choppy; as car kept down shifting…don’t know how the hell to beat this but it is what it is…seems when I punched it in 4th it would downshift a bit and that’s why you have the drop.
Ready for the VRP package now....

Etown should be in about 2 weeks. It's LOUD but very menacing. I love the sound. What did you run at atco? I will be going to MIR the 23rd to the race track rental.

Just by increasing the 5 gallon reservoir you could roughly see a 20-30rwhp gain. To that add a full tank of ICE...you got another 10-15rwhp or so.
Add cat delete and open exhaust...Viola you have an almighty V12...LOL! gaining you an extra 20-25rwhp...total gain of 70rwhp...
Your usual 65 dyno's should be around 515-525 being strong ones, add 70 ponnies to that give or take and you come out with roughly what I have.
A/F ratio maybe a bit screwed up at this point but that will be fixed pretty soon....stay posted.
