Spy Photos of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG With Minimal Camoflauge
New spy photos have emerged today depicting a scantily clad Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, which should be celebrating its unveiling in the not too distant future. Not surprisingly, it doesn't look much different than the 2010 Mercedes E-Class fitted with the AMG sport package that was detailed back in January, but of course, the true fun of the E63 lies not in its design, but rather in what's under the hood. Power from the model's hand-built AMG 6.2-Liter V8 is expected to come in around 525 hp, while the rest of the E63's mechanics are expected to receive a major overhaul.

in order this car to be even in the same class of the CTS-v, New M5 with TT's and Audi RS6
it will need a dual clutch transmission and very aggressive programing.
But I highly doubt it.. since AMG is concerned about MPG and reliability.

I don't get it. Let the E350/550 get the MPG and conservative styling. AMG should be going nuts on this thing, motor and looks. I'm struggling to make the stars align here. The only thing I can hope for is they are playing us as fools and will drop a big surprise on us shortly.

I suppose Im in the minority here, cause I really like the looks. It's got great potential i.e. wheels, a drop, some tints etc. Im pleased with the new interior too, it looks clean, modern, and well laid out. As far as the power is concerned, we'll just have to wait till the official specs are released. I cant see them NOT putting the DCT tranny in it since DCT have been proven to lower fuel consumption through more efficient shifting.
I, for one, am excited.

Everything is good except the rear! Interior is nice. front is nice. the back is not though. And it even ruins the 3/4 view from the side due to how the rear tail lights wrap around. Maybe it will be better in person. Like the new SL. I love the new SL now too...
