Wow! So many posts to respond to!
Thanks, I love the 208 styling so much I had to get another one. Started off with a silver 99 W208 CLK430 and then got this 01 W208 CLK55. It has definitely come a long way.
Thank you. The worst part is that the slower times you see are caused by the trans bouncing on the 2-3 shift and other times it would short shift first. I think I figured it out by the end of the day. In order to prevent the short shift of first, you have to get the gas pedal to the floor quickly and not push in the kickdown button. I'm not sure if this holds true but it seemed to work on my last pass of the day. Unfortunately the warmer air (or the car not running as strong) didn't let that pass be a great one.

Thanks. I don't like using nitrous, I actually regret putting it on the car. That being said, I very well may spray the car after I get it tuned for nitrous since I am pretty close to the overall #1 spot.

Thank you very much. 0.2s may not seem like alot but it is an eternity away. I might be able to hit it on nitrous. But I will try with just a few small mods and a retune. I am perfectly happy with my numbers now but I'm sure it will wear off real soon. Already looking into ways to get the 80/82mm TB to work on my car haha.
If I had a 65 I would have zero money for mods so it would run stock times and I would need to get a second and thrid job to make payments lol

To be honest, I was surprised myself. When I was handed my first time slip I didn't believe it because people have played tricks on me before and I felt that I left a bit on the table as it was my "shake down" pass. I was sooo happy when it hit me that I finally achieved my goal of tens and by a pretty big margin.

Ahmad, I just realized you are about .25 off the all time MB world record, you should have hooked the bottle back up on your last pass of the day and gone home with two records...a simple 100 shot would have given you at least 2/10th if not more yesterday....again, nice work

^ Thanks, I try! No 9's for me. At this stage of the game, every tenth is an eternity. I'm surprised the car jumped from 11.00 to 10.78 but I guess cutting your 60' off by over 0.1s will do that. Some people said it was impossible for me to cut better than a 1.60 60' Good thing they didnt put money on it huh?

I don't remember what Stepehens record is, wasn't it 10.58? If so then I'm 0.2s away. Race gas and nitrous is reserved for **** talkers and money races. You forget that my nitrous goes through the supercharger and has more of an effect than just an NA car. A 100 shot on this car would be insane
