Need some opinions on tires???? falken or Vredestein Ultra Sessenta Tires

im kind of limited by the size i need 245/30/20 285/25/20
I was either going with the falken fk452 or Vredestein Ultra Sessenta Tires
i have never used either of these brand but i see alot of 211 fourm mebers with 20" wheels running these. Let me know what you guys think looks/handling/wear/ noise
Thanks in advance
The only thing with the Vreds is that the tread design makes it look like you've mounted the tires incorrectly. I actually had a few kids point at my car and tell me I was a dummy.
The was a huge thread in the Corvette forum a few years ago and they all swore by the Vreds.
Both are sticky tires but I'd say +1 to the Vreds......
Can't comment on the Vred's.

The falken have the advantage because they can be flipped.. how many miles you get out of the 452 godfather???
SonicMS www.sonicms.net Call em up, ask for Darwin, tell him The Godfather sent you (or talk to Andy as well) and he'll have em shipped to your door.
There's a guy in Chatsworth that seems to have the best prices. He's on eBay. Do a search for Vreds on eBay and see if you can link to the Chatsworth place (I can't remember his name).......ya, here it is: Canoga Park (not Chatsworth): AFS Wheels, 818-340-6181

What about Sumitomo HTR Z III? Anybody have experience with them? They seem to be around the same price.
EDIT: I just went through all the reviews and road tests on tirerack.com, and the overall impression of the Sumitomo HTR Z III is that they are a cheaper alternative to the Mich PS2 which seem to be the gold standard for our cars....and near equally matched in performance and bettered in longevity.
To the OP, if you are looking to save money, check these out. I might be going this route....I could use the extra $600 saved over PS2s...
However, if you are going the 19 or 20 inch route, Veds seem like the best way to go...

the Vredestein Ultra Sessenta Tires are simply awesome tires.
I have driven on just about every tire and model out there over the years, both on track and on street and these are the best tires I have used, and driven, with the one exception of the YOKOHAMA RS 's , which are stickier, but not as good in the wet, and dont last as long either..
Literally I get one guy a day ask me on the street where I got the tires, and what kinda they are, and that they luv the look..
even the merc dealers ask about them constantly.
great tire.. and less expensive than most..

good luck

When there are so many quality options out there--in quality brands--why would you choose this stuff? The cost differential is nominal, if any. Do you really want to compromise your last/first contact with the pavement?
Just don't understand. Sorry.
