Ya...you're in Pasadena. Traffic sucks on Fridays, so you probably wouldn't get here until closer to 7. That would be fine if more people joined.
It's pretty late notice, but thought I'd put it out there. Maybe someplace near the Irvine Spectrum or Newport.

I love the OC for happy hour but the Rectum (spectrum) parking licks cajones... I honestly roll straight to Tiajuanas for 2.75 drafts and the games are on TV.......great parking and not so crowded that you cant get a table in the bar.

I can go too but it will be on the trailing edge of HH, have some biz in San Clemente first. Either way the bar will be cleared out by 7"ish, its hilarious how much difference HH makes for some peeps. They save 50 cents a drink and once the clock strikes 7 they up and vanish like a fart in the wind!!
The bar then picks up again at 10pm. Its actually only of two (I might be wrong) bars in Irvine. Yes check the zip codes and you will not find any other bar. Its also an 18 and over bar (for your young hunters)

I believe it first was a bar and then they added the restaurant side whereas all that you have mentioned are primariy eaterys. Irvine rules are that the establishment must be 80% food and 20% alcohol (no more in retail sales) or its a considered a bar (this is what the owner was telling me so no quotes). They clearly turn more bar/alcohol sales than food.
