Lowering Module which one?

I am thinking about getting a lowering module for my 2005 E55. Which one do I get Kleeman, Renntech, any other brand??? Please help I need some advice on this.

I think the overwhelming response is going to be the RENNtech ELM. It seems to be the most popular one, and it's also the one I have. No complaints.

Be warned that there are two flavors of the RENNtech one, V1 and V2. With the V1, you must cut/splice into your harness, with V2, it's plug and play. Plus it gives you the ability to add a remote control module.

I went through this decision process a few months ago and after doing some research, concluded the Renntech ELM was by far the best choice available. The version 2 module has a very slick hard-wired remote control unit that make control of the system amazingly convenient compared to other solutions. Here's a link to the DIY when I did my own install:

There's actually a third variant out there, as well - only on a few cars, tho. Call or PM BigBob over at RENN, he'll help you navigate the maze.

I have a renntech module v2 I think, without the external control. Don't really adjust mine so don't seem the need, I know the newest version is more accurate and can control each side.

There are some used modules floating around and it will be the best mod for your car. Love the fact that you can adjust your ride height whenever and where ever. Perfect for long drives

Brabus ELM

HI Guys,

I bought a Brabus ELM a while back as it was so cheap, I looked into it further and found it only lowers apprx 20mm, is this correct? All other ELM seem to lower more.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

They retail for $1395. Where are you located? Some of the vendors do forum pricing - maybe I can steer you in a good direction ...

RennTech FTL!! Horrible customer care when their parts fail.

There is no competition for the RennTech ELM. BigBob is flat out rude. I'd go without an ELM before I'd call his butt for word on how they copied the nest feature. Maybe it is finally actually plug and play instead of the misinformation all of you seem to post on the V1 vs V2.

I actually won mine at a BNZ GTG charity event where the RT rep was onsite.
THen I emailed RT marketing, told them who I was and they sent me a fat swag pack with a badge, little rubber type badges and a black matte rt frame plate.

priced at $1395, RENNtech's ELM v2 is the cheapest lowering module out on the market.

Seems like we have quite a few guys who want this ELM, lets do a price of $1325 shipped!

Let me know I can still get a few sent out today.
